vampire. Thoren was unlike any she'd ever met, and she was determined
to break through his tough exterior and help heal his broken past.
When Thoren’s past shows up in the
form of two shifters, it threatens the bond they’ve formed. Will
Thoren convince Ember she is all he needs? Or will his past tear them
apart?
About Kelleye Richards:
Kelleye Richards is a
collaboration by Anya Kelleye and E.R. (Emily) Richards.
These two ladies met while role playing for one of their favorite
book series. Branching out their role play, they decided to bring to
life their own characters. Thus, Ember and Thoren were born.
These two aren’t the only characters
clamoring for existence. More will follow in the BloodMoon &
Magic series. So, dive in and be immersed in their world of
vampires, shifters, witches and all things paranormal.

Interview With Kelleye Richards:
- Can you tell us a little about your book?
Our book takes place
in Denver, Colorado.
Ember
McGillivray-Scott is a quick-witted, petite bartender with a flirty
personality, and she is a snow leopard shifter. She also had a dark
secret she is hiding from her two guardians who happen to be very old
vampires. They took her to raise when her mother died in childbirth
with her twin sister.
Thoren de Lucien is
an angry, ancient vampire out for revenge against all shifters. They
destroyed his family and he is following the bloodline of the family
that decimated his all those centuries ago. When he first sees Ember,
his first reaction is to destroy her like all the others. But
something in her moon-kissed gaze halts his finger on the trigger.
From there is it a cat and vamp game of two strong willed people. But
the more they tangle the closer they become until it releases in a
sexy, hot, no holds barred explosion.
- When did you decide to write together?
We had been writing
as role players for a book series we both loved for a couple of
years. We enjoyed that, but we were restricted to what could be found
in the books we followed. We decided we would create our own
characters to role play with no limits except what our imagination
could come up with. We wrote several “storylines”. One day we
realized we had the beginnings of a great book. So, we decide to
re-edit our storylines into book form. Under
A Blood Kissed Moon
with Thoren and Ember was born. Many more characters are screaming at
us to tell their stories. Thus, the BloodMoon & Magic Series will
bring those new characters into play as well.
- Do you have a favorite spot to write?
Anya’s favorite
spot to write is camped out in her office with a nice cup of coffee
and the view out the bay window with her kitties as assistants.
Emily’s favorite
spot is anywhere that is quiet.
- Do you listen to music while you write?
Anya listens to
mostly instrumental easy listening or movie soundtracks when writing.

- Do you work with an outline, or just write?
We have just a
general idea for where we want our book to go, but not a formal
outline. We chat back and forth online or on the phone to hammer out
the details. We live a few states away from each other, so no just
popping over to the other’s house for a writing day. We do seem to
have the same brain most days in writing. One of us can be writing
one character and the other one writing the other character. We will
put them together, and the two different parts will just blend
together as if we were telepathically sending it to the other! Our
husbands think we are very odd and creepy that way. LOL
- What is a usual writing day like for you? How is it structured?
Our usual writing
days are when we have time between work, family and home. Structure?
What’s that? Ha Ha Ha
- If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
The power of
instantaneous travel (think I
Dream of Jeannie)
so we could just get together whenever we wanted instead of writing
together online. Plus, the power of a really good witch to keep up
with everything else so we could write more!
- What are writing projects are you currently working on?
Right now, we are
working on Book 2 in our BloodMoon & Magic Series titled Under A
Celtic Moon. This one is Daegan Scott’s (one of Ember’s
guardians) and Ahnya O'Fáeláin’s story. It will be a little
different as we do a bit of flashback several centuries to tell their
story and it will be quite the tale!
