Just An Illusion is the first book I read by D. Kelly. I absolutely loved it. This one is one of those book that you should drop everything and read. It's definitely on my list for top read of this year.
I loved all the characters. They are all complex characters that have layers. As I read on and found out more and more about the them and I couldn't help but fall in love with them.
Sawyer and Noah are twins and front men of the band BAD. They are best friends as well as brother. They have the ups and downs that siblings have but also throw in fame, celebrity status and fan girls. Amelia (Mel) is not a fan of BAD. She has a past in the music industry and doesn't went to relived it. She meets the band with her best friend Belle. Mel is a writer and is given a great opportunity to write a book about BAD. I loved that Mel out the guys in their place. They may think they are rock sex gods but Mel treats them like normal guys. Both Sawyer and Noah like Mel. There is some sexual tension goign on. I liked that even though there was sexual tension, Mel was not a bed hopper.
Wow, the ending! I read the ending and went back and read the prologue and then the ending again. It left me hanging and wanting more story and pop tarts.
