Words can not begin to describe how much I love this book! Ahren Sanders is one of my must read authors. Now, this book is considered a standalone and you can totally pick this book up and read it and enjoy it without reading The Surrender Series. There are connecting characters, however if I'm honest I haven't read that series and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but after reading it I am absolutely going to go and read that series. I do think it would have been better if I had read it before this one. Now, onto this book. I am seriously in love with Finn. I want him for myself. He is definitely the best man for Presley. Presley has always been the girl that plays it safe. She is not a risk taker and Finn is considered a risk in her eyes. Ms. Sanders had me crying and then so happy within the first 1/4 of the book and in true Ahren form, she keeps you hooked until the very end. I highly recommend this book! I highly recommend all of Ahren Sanders' books actually. She is one of those authors that you don't even have to read what the book is about before you buy it because you just know it is going to be amazing. This book really deserves more than 5 AMAZEBALLS stars!!
Ahren spent her formative years living in an active volcano. There her family made collectible lava art. She studied rock collecting at the Sorbonne in France. There she met the love of her life-her pet pig Sybil. She returned to the states and started writing. She is happily married to a guy who used to live under a bridge and she met while pole-dancing. They have one amazing daughter.
Now, meet the real me. I grew up in the south and consider myself a true “Southerner”. Most of the special locations mentioned in my books are reflections of my favorite places. Living on the Florida coast, my family spends a lot time at the beach, which is where I usually can be found with a book in my hand.
