About Jemma Bell:
Hello world, I’m Jemma Bell. I’m currently working on my debut novel Nerd Girl. Nerd Girl is the first of what I hope to be a five book series called The Modern Girls series. My expected publishing date is August of 2015.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m the mother of three terrific kids and the wife to the man of my dreams. I met Mr. Bell at a country western night club and when I saw his Watermelon Crawl I simply swooned. His rear end looked fabulous in those Wrangler jeans as well. As the story goes we dated for a few years and got married. A few years after that the babies joined us and now we live the poster life of the modern suburban family.
I’m a stay at home mommy to my three and an avid reader. I had the opportunity to meet my favorite author at an event last November and she simply blew me away. A wonderful woman with a challenging past. Going to this event and meeting her inspired me to start writing. So here I sit a few months later on the cusp of releasing my first book. You never know when inspiration will strike, but when it does run with it. It may take you to great things.
I hope you enjoy the fruits of my labor and can relate to my characters. God bless.

Interview With Jemma Bell:
1. Can you tell us a little about your book?
Nerd Girl is a sexy, sweet, romantic comedy about a book nerd who goes to an author signing event and meets up with her favorite book boyfriend.
Before too long her book boyfriend becomes her real boyfriend. Throw in a few hilarious mishaps, a ballsy BFF, The wingman we all want in our corner and a coonhound named Clyde.
2. What inspires you to write?
Having fun creating a new world and characters I'm proud of.
3. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
My kitchen table so I can watch my (3) children playing in the livingroom and still be available should they need me for anything. I actually write better with all the chaos and noise.
4. Do you have a favorite book boyfriend?
I do, Jesse Ward from Jodi Ellen Malpas "This Man" series
5. If you could spend 24 hours as a fictional character, who would you chose?
Duh! Jesse Ward, I'm in need of one of his countdowns. LOL.
6. Do you work with an outline, or just write?
Um, both. Sort of. My mind spins so quickly that things change as I write them. Let's just say I have very "loose" outlines but tons of notes.
7. What's one random fact about yourself that you can share?
I am a fiend for Hot Fudge Sundaes.
8. Are you attending any author events?
Not at this time. Hopefully once I have another book or two under my belt.
9. What are you working on next?
Moxie Girl (book 2 in my Modern Girls series) This is the romance between Layla and Riven.
