***Excerpt***

“I’m Alexis Storm and you must be Cohen Price.” He nodded with agreement. “Pleasure to meet you, Miss Storm.” Oh, God, no, the pleasure is all mine. I didn’t say that, though. God, why was I thinking that way, that was embarrassing. I knew I’d be twenty tomorrow, but he made me feel like I was fifteen again. “Mr. Price, please have a seat, I have so much I’d like to discuss.” He gave a small smile and I was stunned again. Did he know the effect he had on women? He must. “Please call me Cohen.” I nodded to give him my reply, as my words were still lost. He went over his resume, his achievements and I must say they were quite exceptional. It was no surprise that Maxwell Finch recommended him for the job when I signed his contract. “You’re most definitely qualified. However, with your recommendation coming from Mr. Finch I worry it may be a conflict of interest. I am looking for someone to stay on and work other contracts, not just his. I need complete confidentiality and you will have to sign paperwork stating all of this.” He waited, and then told me something shocking. “I am not fond of Maxwell. He can be an arrogant prick and he knows he can be because people want his business. I will never be the employee who sits back and says ‘yes, Mrs. Storm’ just because I think it’s want you want to hear. I will tell you the blunt truth whether you’d like it or not.” Well, that was not what I expected. “You’re perfect.” Oh, wow, had I just said that? I was sure there was a blush on my face. He was just staring at me and I knew he was holding back a laugh. “For this job I am going to need someone who will be honest and not worry about hurting the boss’ feelings. I don’t need you to tell me that everything is roses. I want the truth. I feel this is a good fit. Wouldn’t you, Cohen?” His eyes were drilling right into me, they had me pinned to him and this was a disaster. “Definitely.”

Gracie Wilson

Look for her in the trees enjoying nature’s wonders, traveling to see the latest animal conservations, or at aquariums all around the world. This girl loves nature and all animals. She has many pets and is always adding new editions. The more the merrier in her mind. Sitting under the shade reading a book, letting the world around her pass by, while she is safe in her bubble of imagination. Well that is where she’d love to stay. She is a softball player, can be talked into the occasional Karaoke and loves going out to dance. She is a first generation Canadian living in Ontario. Her family is from Scotland, so finding her in the hot sun for very long is unlikely, but give her rain and thunderstorms and she’s golden.

1) Can you tell us a little about your books?
I have three Book Series. 
Lonely Girl- The first two books are out already. These books follow a young girl through love and loss. Follow her journey on the path of healing in a world only trying to bring her more pain.
Storm Corp: Determined and Derailed is the first book and only book out at this time. It was recently given the award of best mystery and suspense by Indie Author Books. Let Alexis take your world by Storm.

The Beautifully Destroyed- The first book in this series is coming soon.

 

 
2) Do you have a favorite place to write? 

Outside in the summer… in the winter not so much a place more like when its snowing. I love snow.

 

 
3) If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be? 

I have 3 dogs, a cat and a turtle. But I really want a mircro pig. 

 

 
4) What's the last song you sang for Karaoke? 

Stay by Sugarland 

 

 
5) If the The Lonely Girl Series was made into a movie who would you cast for as Becca?  
Chloë Grace Moretz or Brit Robertson

 

6) How many books do you plan on writing in the The Storm Corp Series? 

I’m thinking 3 to 5 books.

One girls path to revenge.

 

 
8) Do you listen to music while you write? 

Almost always.

 

 
9) Do you work with an outline, or just write?

 I just sit and start righting.

 

 
10) What projects are you currently working on? 

I’m currently working on all three of those series I listed above plus a new book called What If.
