Synopsis
Position vacant…
Successful, attractive male requires a full-time, live in assistant.
Please note; this is no ordinary position.
If voyeurism and explicit fantasies are likely to offend, do not apply.
The successful applicant will be female, attractive and very self-confident.
I am not looking for a slave, or a submissive. I’m after a challenge.
Fight me. Resist me and you will be rewarded…
Excerpt One
"I employ women to meet my every
single need, and at the moment, you've proven yourself capable of
filing documents and fetching me coffee."
I freeze as his fingers move under my skirt and up my thigh, inching closer to my core. My heart aches as his warm breath hits the back of my neck. I hate and I love how intoxicating his touch is.
"Prove yourself,” he whispers. “Give me a reason to want you. Make me need you. Show me who you are, Charlotte."

Excerpt Two
“Stand up,” I murmur, my fingers
still stroking her soft skin. She does, her eyes leveling on mine,
icy blue and showing no fear. I bring her against me, my lips meeting
the crest of her neck as my tongue rolls along her skin.
“You haven’t requested me in a while,” she comments. I see the concern in her eyes and I want to laugh. After the way I treat her, she would still do anything for me, just like the rest of them. My jaw tightens as I spin her around. I don’t need her concern, and I certainly don’t need to see the pity in her eyes as I do what I’m about to do to her.
This has nothing to do with the need to hurt or degrade and everything to do with punishing myself. Who knows, maybe she gets that. Maybe she’s more intuitive than I give her credit for. The reality is if I don’t do this then I cant feel normal, and if I can’t feel normal I can’t function.

Review by Gia:
Resist is an interesting read. It's definitely a unique storyline. Charlotte is looking for a job and her friend sends her a weird ad for a job opening. The employer is Jaxon Murphy. Jaxon girlfriend went missing and he was acquitted of her murder. Charlotte see this as a good story and if she can break the story and she can a journalism job. She applies for the job and gets hired.
Jaxon is hot and sexy but he is keeping some secrets. He has a bunch of women staying with him and each one serves a different purpose. We only meet one of his girls besides Charlotte and we really don't find out much about them in this story. Charlotte is attracted to Jaxon. He at first has her filing and making coffee. At points I wasn't not sure what Jaxon wanted from Charlotte. Jaxon runs a business and has a business partner that he doesn't like.
At end the story takes a different run then I excepted. There is a cliffhanger that left me wanting more. I can't wait to read the next one.
