I liked this one a lot. Both Bowie and Hansel are great characters. Bowie is a fun, crazy, free-spirited girl. Hansel is a great and caring guy. He decides to skip his flight and drive home instead. Bowie missing her flight is a way that had me going OMG but still laughing. These two end up going on a road trip together. They are strangers when they begin, but their adventures bring them closer. There was a crazy twist that I didn't expect. This one had me hooked, and I highly recommend it.

OMG, this one is a must-read. I was going to read a little bit, and I ended up getting so drawn into it that I ignored everyday life and read it all in one sitting. Tommy and Rachel are pretty much soul mates, but he left her to build his band. She went on to marry his brother Eddie. After four years, they see each other again. She's the girl Tommy could never get over, and she still has feelings for him. There's a lot of back and forth, and neither wants to do anything while she is still married. This one was a heart-string puller, and if I were a kindle thrower, I would have thrown my kindle at least once (I think somewhere in the 70% range) when reading this.

How could he have broken up with you when you weren’t dating?” “Luc, darling, one thing at a time.” “I think this is the same thing.” “Oh, so you’re fine with talking about menstruation, but suddenly I talk about boyfriends, and you freak out like a dad from the ‘50s?” I pinched the bridge of my nose and waved Cliff off. Cliff was sixteen and nearly as tall as I was, and his eyes were wide. He put his hands on both Emma’s and Benjamin’s shoulders. As Benjamin was eight, and Emma was ten, they had an inkling of what we were talking about, so therefore my eldest son seemed to read my mind. He pulled the kids away, and out to the backyard where hopefully he would watch them for a minute while I figured out what the hell was going on with my oldest daughter. Meghan and I had been married for over a decade now. We had been through hell and back multiple times, and I still felt like I was sometimes scrambling when it came to my kids.

I am always looking for new recipes, and when I saw this one, I jumped at the chance to find some new recipes. The book has more than just recipes; there are stories from the Montgomery Ink series. Each chapter has a short story from a couple from the series. I'm not familiar with the Montgomery Ink series, but I still enjoyed the short stories. I loved the recipes, and there's a little something for everyone, even the pickiest eaters. My favorite chapter was Chapter 5: With A Twist. I made almost all of these recipes, and I didn't get one complaint from the family. Another family favorite was French Toast Grilled Cheese with Bacon from Chapter 6: Cheese Me, Baby. I'm enjoying making the recipes, and there are still more recipes I will try.

Everything We Are was a good read. Thea thought she had everything planned out, but then she decided to change her major and college. She's going to the same college as her older brother, Jude, so she goes to live with him and his three roommates and hockey mates. Kyler is one of her roommates. He keeps to himself and has a lot going on in his life. Thea and Kyler have a connection, but he has a lot going on and has no room for distractions or relationships. When the story starts, Thea has a boyfriend, Adam. Adam is a jerk, and I was like, how many pages do I have to read until they break up. There's a twist that you may figure out before it comes out in the story, but the way it comes out and shocking. I was so rooting for Thea and Kyler.
