Interview With CA Miconi:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?

I write small town steamy with strong female leads! I love showcasing strong women by writing from their point of view. I have two books out in my Finding Love in Green Springs series with plans for two more. I'm also starting a spin off trilogy set in the same small town, and have just released a book in Samantha A. Cole's Suspenseful Seduction World.

2. What inspires you to write?

I'm an accidental author! I started out editing and providing author services, then got the writing bug! My inspiration comes from people and events that have shaped my life, and the inspiration for my fictional small town comes from the small town I grew up in near Richmond, Virginia!

3. Do you work with an outline, or just write?

I do best with an outline and like to plot chapter by chapter. Then I write based on my "script." 

4. How do you come up with your characters' names? 

Many of my names come from family and friends!

5. If you could be friends with one of your characters, which one would you choose?

I think it's a tie between Sally from Be One with Me, a sassy, sexy, successful 40 year old from Chicago, and Eileen from Waiting for Him Too, who is in her mid 50's and had a secret career with the federal government.

6. Do you have a release day tradition?

Not really, although i love being active on social media on release day, talking with everyone about my book!

7. If your fairy godmother waved her wand and whisked you away to the location of your choice, which place would you choose?

Probably Bonaire, one of the ABC islands in the Dutch Caribbean. I love it so much I put it in a book!

8. What writing projects are you currently working on?

I'm starting my spin off trilogy, the Healing Hearts Trilogy. The first book is going to be in Samantha A. Cole's Suspenseful Seduction World, and is set in my fictional small town of Green Springs. It involves a farm providing equine therapy to cancer patients and veterans with PTSD.
