The Alpha Wolf's Mate
Accepting a job as a wildlife veterinarian at the Savage Wolf Sanctuary is Serena's dream job. Finding out she's the mate of Savage Hill's alpha werewolf turns her world as she knows it upside down. Trying to resist the sexy man is impossible. She's in heat, and he's more than ready to claim what's his.
Excerpt
Opening the front door, he inhaled deeply, taking in the pungent, yet pleasing scent of the woods. A primitive awareness surged through his blood, and he fought the overwhelming urge to change. A wolf’s nose was sensitive, even when he or she was in human form. Then he caught something else in the air, overpowering all else.
It was the scent of his mate.
Connor struggled not to give in to Serena’s allure. As the wolves howled in the mountains he tried to focus on that, but the vision of his mate sleeping in his bed wouldn’t go away. He clenched his hands into fists and growled low. Closing his eyes was a mistake, as it only emphasized the sensual cloud hovering around him. Before he could stop it, he felt his fangs slowly descend.
Fuck, Serena’s scent was making him crazy, and until mated, it would drive any male within a five-mile radius into a lustful craze, too. Once he marked her with his scent, it would be a warning that she was off limits, and any self-respecting wolf would stay away.
Whether she was willing or not, he'd have to mark her, and soon. It was the only thing that would keep her alive.

Ace: The Sentinels
Hit it and quit it seems tobe the motto of the Sentinels MC, but Ace is convinced it's the only way forhim to go. At 47, the scarred veteran isn't going to change his ways. He's acold-hearted, bad-ass biker and the enforcer of the club. Women flock to himfor bragging rights but Emerson, a sweet little bartender, wants more. And shesets out to show Ace what he can have with one woman who cares.
Excerpt
I was coming out of the back stock room when I literally ran into Ace as he was heading toward the bathroom. His powerful hands grasped my upper arms to push me back, but not before we had a full frontal collision. The man was solid as a rock, everywhere. I gasped from the impact, and instant, hot awareness slammed through me. I gasped again upon looking up and seeing his condition. My eyes widened as they roamed over his bruised and bloodied face.
"What-What happened to you?" I asked with concern. I knew the Sentinels were tough, dangerous men and capable of taking care of themselves, but it looked as if Ace had taken a good beating.
He released me and held up a big hand, barely looking me in the eye. "I'm good." He made a move to go around me.
"You're not good." I reached for his arm. "Ace, you're hurt."
"Don't make it more than what it is, Emerson." He pulled away and went into the men's room.
I stared after him and the door that he'd closed in my face. Why was he so stubborn? He'd obviously been in a fight. And he obviously didn't want my help. Well, that was just too damned bad. I dashed to where I knew we kept the first aid kit, grabbed it off the shelf, and went back to the restroom. I hesitated only briefly before pushing my way into the bathroom and finding him at the sink.
He was in the process of wiping his face with a paper towel. "Get out," he grumbled.
"No." I took a deep breath and stubbornly stepped closer. "Those cuts need more than water, they need to be cleaned." I forced my way between his hard body and the hard counter. "Now let me see." I brushed his hands away from his face.
"Emerson," he growled in warning, glaring down at me with steel in his eyes, his jaw taut.
I met his eyes squarely, not the least bit intimidated. "Suck it up, biker man," I ordered, not backing down. "I know you're a big, old, hard-ass, Ace, but even big boys occasionally need a tender touch." I opened up the first aid kit and pulled out the clean gauze and antiseptic. When I turned back to Ace I halted, suddenly realizing how close we were.
I hardened my reserve, which meant ignoring the unexpected tingling in my nipples, to do what I needed to do. Besides, I'd decided to move on, right? As far as I knew, the feelings that I experienced when I was around Ace were totally one-sided. I poured antiseptic onto the gauze and reached up to clean the particularly nasty-looking cut on his cheek.
"So, what happened?" I dabbed as gently as I could, wincing when I saw how deep the cut was. "You should probably get stitches." He just growled in response, standing there like an obstinate five-year-old who was being subjected to a fate worse than death. I felt a smile spread across my lips. "Poor baby."
He growled some more. Once I was satisfied that the cut was as clean as I could get it, I poured the antiseptic directly into the wound. He sucked in his breath. My eyes shot up to his. "Sorry," I mumbled, reaching for the butterfly bandage, relieved that we had some. "If this doesn't work--"
"I know, stitches."
A Soldier's Promise
He's a soldier home for the holidays, his brother's last wish for him to
take care of his wife and baby weighing heavily on his mind. Keeping
promises are important, but this one will be hard. Ryan has been
secretly in love with Shannon for years. Their attraction is hot and
consuming, but will they be able to get over the guilt that threatens to
keep them apart?
Excerpt
She pulled back the curtain, her eyes
rounding when she recognized Ryan’s form heading down the front steps
with his bag in his hand. Was he leaving because of her? That would
crush Marsha! Without thinking, Shannon whipped the door open and
stepped onto the porch.
“Ryan!” If he heard her, he ignored her, and continued walking toward the garage. “Ryan!” Shannon picked up her robe and dashed down the steps and into the snow. The cold immediately went through her slippers. “Ryan, please wait!”
He rounded the garage and disappeared. Shannon couldn’t believe that he didn’t hear her. She rushed to catch up with him, almost falling when she stepped on an icy patch of snow. She entered the garage just as he opened the door to his jeep. “Ryan!”
He stiffened but didn’t turn around as she expected. Shivering, Shannon stepped in front of him, putting herself between him and the open door. She didn’t know what she was going to do; only that she had to stop him in some way. “What are you doing?” she asked, flinching from the unwelcome coldness in his eyes. It was just getting light enough for her to see his expression, hard and set as usual.
“I would think that’s obvious,” he said flatly, a tick appearing in his jaw. His gaze was focused somewhere over her head.
“Your leaving will ruin everyone’s holiday. Every year, all they ever talk about is you coming home.” His gaze zeroed in on hers with deadly accuracy. He looked so angry, as if he was about to explode. Shannon felt the urge to reach up and kiss away the firmness of his mouth until it was soft and friendly. “Are you leaving because of, ah, what happened?” She didn’t have to spell it out; they both knew what she was referring to.
“I think it’s better this way.”
“I’m not blaming you,” she began. “It’s something that just happened, a moment that got away from us.” Trying to sound as if it was insignificant didn’t come off as convincing as Shannon wanted it to. She could barely look Ryan in the eye because of the heat filling her cheeks.
“What makes you think it won’t happen again?”
Shannon’s eyes rounded in surprise. The little thrill his words caused evaporated quickly when she realized he wasn’t happy about his earlier loss of control. Would it happen again? She didn’t have the nerve to ask. Deep down part of her wanted it to. She could tell he wanted to leave, but she was in his way.
“Ryan please, if you can’t stand being under the same roof with me then I’ll leave. Just, please, don’t hurt your family this way.” It surprised Shannon that his leaving would hurt her, too.
Their gazes held for a long moment. Shannon wasn’t beneath begging to get him to change his mind. She loved Marsha and the rest of the family too much to cause them undue pain. “Please, stay.” To her mortification, she felt the hot sting of tears fill her eyes. It occurred to her that she was asking as much for herself as for them. Did he feel the pull between them? The intensity of it astounded her.

Interview With Tory Richards:
1. Can you tell us a little about your
books?
I started out writing what some would call sweet romance but
quickly evolved into hotter, sexier stories. I've written contemporary,
interracial, and paranormal. My one and only paranormal, The Alpha Wolf's Mate
is coming out on 1/28. It's one of the stories that I've updated and
added content to for a re-release. Most books are full-length but I do
have a slew of short stories and novellas. I also have some permanently
free books, like Out of Control, Someone to Love Me, and Up in Flames. I hope you'll check them out.
2. How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
I've written 35 books and I have to say Kiss Me is my favorite, simply because it was my first baby. Considered a sweet contemporary romance, there is some serious heat but nothing like the erotic titles I have out there. The story takes place in a small town and the romance is between a detective and divorcee. Kiss Me is free.
3. Do you have a release day tradition?
Not
really, everything, the stress and anticipation, happens before the
release when you have to make sure everything is perfect and you worry
that it's nothing. A good example of what can go wrong just happened
recently to my newest release, ACE. The unfinished version was
released on release day on Amazon. Needless to say anyone who
pre-ordered the book got that version. One-star reviews of pissed off
readers were rolling in! I spent hours on social media trying to fix the
problem and by the time it was fixed on Amazon the damage had been
done. So many returns! But it is what it is and beyond my control. Since
then reviews have all been five-star.
ACE
was released on 12/18/18, and is a spinoff MC romance from The
Sentinels. He's the enforcer of the MC and I actually had readers write
me about doing a story for him. Both books are standalone romances.
Blurb
- Hit it and quit it seems to be the motto of the Sentinels MC, but Ace
is convinced it's the only way for him to go. At 47, the scarred
veteran isn't going to change his ways. He's a cold-hearted, bad-ass
biker and the enforcer of the club. Women flock to him for bragging
rights but Emerson, a sweet little bartender, wants more. And she sets
out to show Ace what he can have with one woman who cares. You can check
it out here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HGYT9GZ
4.
Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
Writing is a hobby for me, and always has been. I'm not very disciplined
with regard to a structured process. When I write it's usually during
the day. Then I spend a few hours on social media and doing promo. Then I
might write some more before bed.
5.
Do you have a favorite spot to write?
My office is my La-Z-Boy
recliner, and lap top. Usually the TV is on in the background, and one
or two of my four cats is somewhere on top of me.
6.
If you could be friends with one of your character, which one would you
chose?
That's a tough question to answer. I've never thought about that
before. Maybe Marsha in A Soldier's Promise. She's the head of
a large family and lives at a Vermont farm. The story takes place
around the holidays and all of her children, their spouses, and their
children come there to celebrate. She's a lot like me. Family is very
important to her, she's caring, good at listening and understanding. I'm
in the process of updating and adding content to the story right now
for a re-release on 4/1. It has a new, sexy cover, too, which I've
included for your drooling pleasure:)
7. If you had a superpower, what would it be?
I do have a superpower. I'm a grandma! LOL
Besides updating and adding content to some of my older releases, I have a series planned for 2019. Desert Rebels MC, beginning with COLE. I have 4 books planned, and may sneak in a fifth. I don't have a release date for COLE yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for April or May. Cover reveal coming soon!
Post looks great, thanks! I appreciate the opportunity to be here today.
