The Hunted series
Death is only the beginning . . .
Welcome to the world of reapers, an amazon bestselling fantasy/urban paranormal series that will have you looking at life and death differently.

The Reapers

The balance of life and death must be protected at all costs.

Nivian had never failed to Reap a marked soul. That is, until she meets Kain Evers, a Hunter and the only being on earth with the power to destroy her.

When Reapers start to go missing, the Balance is thrown into turmoil, forcing Nivian and Kain to trust each other as they search for answers. Which is no easy task as they fight the feelings growing between them.

As mortal enemies, they were never meant to work together, now they're forced to protect each other if they want any hope of righting the Balance before all is lost.

Unfortunately, to succeed, one of them must die.

The Exodus

Betrayal changes everything.

The veil between realms is threatened by an unknown force, Silas vanishes without a trace and Nivian is tasked with putting a stop to it and finding their Fate Keeper.

But a greater threat looms. A betrayal Nivian doesn’t see coming, puts everyone’s loyalty into question and threatening to destroy, not only the fragile alliance the Reapers and Hunters have formed, but everything they’ve worked so hard to protect.

Nivian’s heart threatens to get in the way of her duties as she struggles to face her feelings for Kain, the man who once her mortal enemy, is now someone she can’t seem to resist. Her only hope of success lies with him, yet guilt causes her to hesitate when she can least afford to.

As the veil starts to crumble, Nivian must race against time and draw upon everything she has to save the Balance before the world becomes a literal hell on earth… But will it cost her more than she can survive?

The Moirai

Even Death has a price to pay.
Nivian has lost the will to reap, but with the clock ticking down on the survival of all realms, she is tasked with becoming the new Fate Keeper.

When something goes wrong during the transfer of powers ceremony, Nivian seeks out the Moirai for the answers she so desperately needs.

But everything comes with a price.

Nivian will descend into the belly of the underworld to retrieve the man she loves. But if she fails, she’ll be doomed to live a half life and her soul will belong to Hades.

He died for her.

Now she will tear the Underworld apart for a chance to save him.

Interview WithAli Winters:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
I write Urban fantasy(The Reapers, The Exodus, The Moirai), scifi/dystopian (Sound of Silence), and high fantasy(A Sky of Shattered Stars).

2. What inspires you to write?

As cheesy as it sounds, the world around me. It can be anything, a passing comment, a random thought, a song, a movie, a picture, a dream. Everything is a potential source of inspiration.

3. How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
I have written seven books and a handful of short stories. Favorite? Oh my, that is a hard question. I love them all for various reasons.

4. Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
I wake up between 5 and 5:30 every morning. Mostly out of habit as I get up when my husband does on days he works. I have two cups of coffee while I do things like check my schedule and do mindless things like work on paperback formatting, or even just read articles or scroll mindless through FB. Or chat with my book club or author friends before I sit down and write/edit/promote - That part really depends on what stage I'm at with the book I'm working on.

5. How do you come up with your characters names?
I spend a long time on character names. I want names that aren't too difficult or weird to read but I also look for names with meaning, and that fit in with the world and the naming scheme. So I don't have fantastical names mixed with random names like Bob. Sometimes finding names can take a few hours or even days. Because not only does it need to fit all of the above, it needs to fit the character's personality.

6. If you could be friends with one of your character, which one would you chose?

I think I would pick Nivian, my main Reaper of THE HUNTED series. I think she would be fascinating and amusing to spend time with.

7. Do you have a release day tradition?

Biting my nails? No, I think if anything, running around trying to keep everything as orderly as possible while doing as much as possibly human. It's exhausting and I'm usually no good for anything for a day or three after.

8. If your fairy godmother waved her wand and whisked you away to the location of your choice, which place would you choose?
Oregon. I just love everything about that state. It might not make most people's dream vacation spots but I love the beauty of the area and my family is there, and there's just something about it that makes me feel relaxed and happy.

9. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I am working on the final book in THE HUNTED series, The Fallen. Which is set to release on April 30, 2019! Once this book is finished I'll be working on another urban fantasy/dystopian series. I expect it to be five books long and be chock full of romance and vampires, witches, and more. So definitely keep an eye out for that!
