Rushed – Love like Yours Series – Book #1

Have you met Ellerslie and Lawson yet?

Ellerslie Rush wasn't looking for love - she certainly wasn't looking for the cocky Lawson Pierce.

Her best friends brother should be the last person breaking down the walls around her broken heart, but sometimes fate just has other ideas.

Rushed is the first instalment in the Love like Yours Series.

Pierced – Love like Yours Series – Book #2

It was strange to think that such a short time ago it was just me… and then I found El… or maybe she found me – and I had something I never even knew I was looking for.
I thought I had everything.
As per usual life had other plans.
One event would alter our entire course…
We hadn’t even made it down the aisle yet and already there was a baby in the picture. I knew she was going to turn my whole fucking life upside down. How I would run a business, care for a family and still cherish El… I had no clue.
I wasn’t sure I had what it took to be a good father, I knew Ells would be a great mother, and Aunty Quinn had promised she would be there to help in any way we needed.
I was determined to try my hardest. I wanted to be the best I could be for her when she arrived. She was part of my family… her, El and I… we were a family now.
If I was really being honest with myself, just being a new father was not my main concern – learning to be a father to a child that wasn’t mine? Yeah… that was up there on the list.

‘Pierced’ is a novella in the Love like Yours Series.

Hunted – Love like Yours Series – Book #3

I sniffed and tried to wipe the tears from my face. “I just feel so cruel El. But I can’t help it. I see you and Lawson and I want… I want a love like yours. He just wasn’t the one, I never wanted to hurt him, but he just wasn’t the one.” I hung my head and let the tears fall, letting the guilt pour out of my body.
Quinn was prepared to let Colt go. What she wasn’t prepared for was the inexplicable pull she feels towards his brother, Harrison Hunt.
Harrison lies bloodied, broken and bruised in a hospital bed. He knows how he got there, how badly he’s hurt… how close he came to death. The one thing he doesn’t know is who the girl with the piercing green eyes is, or why she frequents his dreams every night.
Colt doesn’t want to let go, but Quinn can’t hold on anymore. Her infatuation with a man she’s never met has made it impossible.
Harrison has a secret he’ll guard with his life, can he move out of the darkness and open up to Quinn? Or will the fact that his brother is in love with her be too much to live with?
I still had no idea how to deal with my brothers feelings for the beautiful woman in front of me. And call me an asshole, but right now, with her standing there in her underwear, it’s the least of my worries.
The scars marring my body, that she’ll see any moment, are the source of the fear that slices through my veins. I know she’ll ask. One thing I do know about her is that she leaves nothing much unsaid.
The question is… am I willing to lie just to keep her?

‘Hunted’ is book #3 in the ‘Love like Yours’ Series

Chased – Love like Yours –Book #4

Colt has had enough of the rough time his hearts been getting… he’s the guy who falls in love fast, and holds on tight as it goes down in flames.
The icing is officially on the cake after the woman he’d convinced himself he loved, falls in love with his older brother, leaving him bitter and alone.
Colt wants to stick it to Quinn, and what better way than with the little brunette that just swayed past.
She’s beautiful… she’s sassy… and she’s one of Quinn’s best friends.
Lexie is only in Boston for a good time, not a long time. So what happens when she finds herself falling for her friend’s ex-boyfriend?
Neither one expected to feel the way they do... but all it took was seven days.
The problem… their lives are over two and half thousand miles apart.
Can they even consider making it work?

Chased is the fourth book in the Love like Yours Series.

 Interview With Nicole Goodin

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
The four books I have currently released are all part of a contemporary romance series. The series begins with one couple, the first two books are about them, with input from the main females best friend – who also happens to be the main males sister. The third book is about her, and the fourth book follows an ex of hers. I am planning out the fifth books, for another couple in the same circle.

2. When did you know you wanted to write a book?
To be honest, it was the strangest thing, I sort of just woke up one day and thought, why not put it on paper. I was largely inspired by Chloe Walsh, who like me is a wife and mum, and I guess I just thought, if she can do it, so can I!

3. Do you have a favorite character to write about?
Not one in particular, but I like writing about men that can be a little bit arrogant in the beginning, but then turn all soft and sweet when they fall in love. I also love writing about strong females who don’t put up with a lot of shit and have a bit of a sassy attutide.

4. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
I’ve recently got a new office, but it’s winter here in New Zealand and it’s kinda cold in there, so I’m still writing mainly from the couch of my bed lol

5. If you ever experience a case of writer’s block, how do you cure it?
I usually switch up my music, or remove myself from distractions, whether that means turning my phone on flight mode, or going to the library to write. I also recently wrote two books at the same time which went surprisingly well, if one couple wasn’t talking, I could give them a break and move onto the other story.

6. Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I tend to get a blurb type outline in my mind, some character traits, and maybe a few scenes and then I tend to just go for it.

7. If Love like Yours Series was made into a movie, who do you picture playing the main characters?
Oh wow, that’s a tough question! I always imagined Stuart Reardon (well his body at least – I’m not too good with finding a perfect face!) as Lawson and probably someone like Kate Upton as Ellerslie. I’ve got photos of inspiration of the others, but no names!

8. If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
I think flying or invisibility would be cool… or some super kick ass strength

9. What are you working on next?
I’m nearly done with a rock star/musician romance that I worked on at the same time as book 4 in my series. It’s called Paper, Scissors, Rock and it’s a standalone totally separate from the other books I’ve written. I’m really excited to get it out!
