Book Synopsis for Kingpin:

Alannah Sullivan met Dominic Collazo when she was only in the fifth grade.  She knew him when the other kids called him names and made fun of his over-sized facial features.  She knew him when he was a shy introvert with a quick temper.   She knew him when he was first introduced to the mob lifestyle by his father, a made man in the St. Louis mafia.  Alannah knew Dominic before anybody could see his potential, and she fell in love with him when she was just a teenager... just in time for her family to pack up and move away from the city and the boy she loved.
But, Alannah is back now, and after ten long years, Dominic Collazo is all grown up.  No longer the quiet loner, Dominic is larger than life, and every woman’s fantasy.  He’s a rich casino owner with the looks of a Greek god, and an alpha male persona to die for.  He’s also a captain in the notorious Giordano crime family.
When the two of them meet again in the lobby of Lumiere Place Casino & Hotel, Alannah has no idea that her second chance with Dominic will also be her biggest curse.  As drama immediately ensues and bullets start to fly, Alannah has to ask herself if Dominic is worth all the trouble that comes with him.
Would you risk everything to be with the love of your life, even if he’s the mafia’s newest KINGPIN?

Interview With WS Greer:
1.  Can you tell us a little about your books?

Well, I’ve written 7 books and am currently working on an 8th.  When I started this game, I was all about romantic suspense, but somewhere in the middle I got away from that and played around with a little erotica.  But erotica just isn’t me.  I felt like I was only doing that to bring what I thought readers wanted.  So, I went to writing for all the reasons that I love, and I wrote my bestselling book yet, Kingpin (An Italian Mafia Romance).

2.     When did you know you wanted to write a book?

I started getting into reading books in 2012, and I wondered how authors keep up with all the characters and plot twists.  Then, I was outside shoveling snow in Alaska, when this story popped into my head.  I asked my wife, “If your father was a serial killer, would you tell on him?”  My first book, Frozen Secrets, was born, and that was the beginning of my book career.

3.    For a reader who hasn't read your books yet, which book do you suggest they start with?

I’d say start with the most recent one.  Kingpin is everything I’ve ever wanted my books to be.  It’s romantic suspense in every sense, and I feel like it’s my debut all over again.

4.     Do you work with an outline, or just write?

I outline everything.  I’m a deep thinker, so I’m in my head a lot.  If I didn’t write it all down, I’d never be able to finish a book because I’d get everything all mixed up.  Outlining keeps me on track.

5.      Do you have a favorite spot to write?

I have an office in my house, and I do all my writing there.  I get distracted anywhere else.

6.      Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?

When I write, I have to have Jolly Ranchers.  It’s a must, and I keep bags of them in my desk in my office.

7.      Do you listen to music while you write?

I usually don’t listen to anything.  That’s kind of thing about having my office, there’s no TV, no music, no kids running around.  Everything is still and quiet, so my brain can go in overdrive.

8.        What’s your favorite summertime activity?

Summertime activity?  Haha.  I live in Guam right now, so it’s always summertime.  While I’m here on this island, I like to take advantage of having a beach to go to when I can.

9.      What are you working on next?

I’m currently working on the sequel to Kingpin, called Long Live The King.  Book one has done very well, so it’s important to follow it up with something astounding!  Kingpin was my best book to date, but Long Live the King will blow it out the water!
