Welcome Today's Featured Author
Tricia Copeland!!!

Think You Know Me

Think You Know Me has roots in the Being Me series but is a book with its own character. I believe readers of my prior works will, as I do, love and hate this work in equal parts. If you love a good suspense, a book that will tug at your mind for days, you won’t be disappointed.

From the back cover:

March 20
This isn’t fair! I close my eyes and see his face. His mother’s words echo in my dreams. Now he is plastered on the front page? How do I move past the rage and guilt when he won’t go away? I need him gone. He doesn’t get to win like this. I won’t let him.
–Amanda

Amanda’s first year of college is fraught with drama and parental scrutiny. With her relationship secure and a clean break from her parents, all she wants is a normal term. But fate steps in and deals a shattering blow. Think You Know Me will have you guessing from the first page.

Interview With Tricia Copeland:
1. Can you tell us a little about your books?

My first books series, Being Me, includes Is This Me?, IF I COULD FLY, as well as my new release, Think You Know Me. The fourth and last book in the series is due out in the beginning of September. The series is a clean new adult series about a college age co-ed, Amanda. My first YA paranormal story is now available for pre-order in the YA novella collection, Spellbound.

2. What inspires you to write?

My stories so far have focused coming-of-age issues. Growing up is hard. I experienced many growing pains as a young adult and want to let people know they’re not alone.

3. Do you work with an outline, or just write?

I work with an outline, it’s not always written down, but it’s mapped out in my head. As I write sometimes the plot shifts or changes course over time as I think more about the characters and their lives.

4. Do you have a favorite spot to write?

I like to write at my kitchen table because I have a view of the mountains. I also have a writing desk with pics of all my friends and family surrounding me.

5. Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?

I am addicted to diet coke.

6. Do you listen to music while you write?

My house gets really quite so I listen to music that fits the mood of my story. It helps get me in the groove and feel the character’s emotions.

7. What is your favorite thing to do when you're not writing?

I love being outside. One of my favorite activities are running, walking, or hiking with friends.

8. What are you working on next?

I am currently writing the fourth book in my Being Me series. I will contribute to an anthology in the fall with a dystopian healing themed story. Next year I’d like to write a YA paranormal book and another clean NA book I have ideas brewing in my brain for.
