Accent Hussy

Accent Hussy

I LOVE accents! I HATE Caleb Conaway.

It’s true, I despise him! Caleb Conaway is an unaccented pain in my ass. No matter how many times I tell the sexy boxer I’m not interested in him, he just doesn’t listen to me. People call me an Accent Hussy. That’s because I’m only attracted to men with sexy accents, dripping in butter, oozing with sex and hit me straight in the vagina. Yup, that’s EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Caleb’s voice does nothing for me; it assaults my ear drums and makes me want to gouge out my eyeballs. I finally thought I got away from him, until a foolish date with a sexy Irishman ends with me arrested . . .

All I wanted was to complete my community service and go home. What I didn’t expect was to fall in love with the kids at the Youth Center, or run into the one man that I love to hate . . . Caleb Conaway.

They say that every person has an Achilles’ Heel, I just wasn’t expecting mine to be Caleb Conaway.

Innuendos (It Had 2 B U, # 1)

She wants him to squeeze her melons . . .
He wants her to hold his wood . . .
Max is the sole reason Breezy can’t keep a boyfriend. Every boyfriend she has ever had breaks up with her the moment they meet him. It’s not because of his eight-pack, or his panty shredding smile. No, the reason Breezy remains single is because Max is her best friend and roommate.
When Breezy’s new boyfriend dumps her after meeting Max for the first time, Breezy is determined to cure her boyfriend woes by challenging Max to a bet: she can’t click her mouse, he can’t wrestle his snake, and neither one can say the word sex or they lose.
It was a simple game of abstinence, until Max decides to tempt Breezy into a hilarious game of innuendos. Now, the only thing harder than Max’s “wood”, is figuring out just where their friendship lies after all bets are off.
One thing’s for certain . . .
All’s fair in sex, love, and innuendos.

First Impressions

First Impressions

by

This is a NA book and is intended for 18+ readers. It contains adult language, sexual innuendos, adult humor and mild sexual encounters with situations that could be uncomfortable for some readers. Also if you have a soft spot for squirrels, you may or may not want to read this book . . . Please keep these warnings in mind, and I hope you enjoy.

He spilled his drink . . .
She hurled her insults . . .

When Gabby Meyers and Trace Martin first met, it ended up being one horrible misunderstanding after another. Trace only wanted to get to know her; she thought he only wanted to get into her pants. Between Gabby’s trust issues and Trace’s uncanny ability to make a lousy first impression, their relationship was doomed from the start.

Trace isn’t going to let one misunderstanding stand in the way of his heart. Determined to make her fall for him, Trace has to overcome a series of obstacles: a womanizing asshole who wants to add a notch in his bedpost; a crazy, overprotective father who wants Trace to participate in something called the “Man Test”; and a psycho one-night stand that won’t leave Gabby alone.

His biggest obstacle, however, is the giant wall around Gabby’s heart.

You only get once chance to make a first impression, but Trace is asking for a second shot.

Interview With V. Kelly:

1.) Can you tell us a little about your books?

I like to write funny. My first book was a contemporary romance that had a little bit of everything. It's called First Impressions. It combined suspense, humor, sarcastic banter with a good ole' enemies to friends romance.  The books I'm currently releasing are Romantic Comedies with an Erotic element.  I just released my book Innuendos in January a best friends to lovers book,  and I'm releasing the next book in that series called Accent Hussy sometime in April.

2.) When did you know you wanted to write a book?
I've been writing stories for as long as I can remember. None of them worthy of publishing, it wasn't until I had a long talk with my Grandma about what my dreams were that I actually started to pursue being an author.  She made me promise her that before she passed away to write a book and publish it. I self-published First Impressions and handed it to her in August of 2015, it was probably one of the most memorable experiences of my life.  I will remember it forever!

3.) Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I'm a pantser! When I write, there's no format. I usually start the book, then I get hung up, by that time I have an ending in mind so I write the ending then try to find some way to fill in the middle, me and middles like to fight.

4.) Do you aim for a set amount of words/pages per day?
I don't aim for a specific word count unless it's November. I participate in Nanowrimo every year and the requirement is to write 50,000 words by the end of the month. So 1,667 words a day. Other than that, between my full time job, and my family at home, I write when I have time. Which in mom time is 8pm to Midnight and weekends. I'm tired a lot!

5.) Which book has been your favorite to write?

My favorite book that I've written is actually not released yet. It's called Pop! It's a erotic romance involving a nerdy virgin who propositions a hot up and coming rocker with a sex contract to take her virginity in order to woo her best friend. I'm thinking about releasing it later this year.

6.) Do you have a favorite spot to write?
My favorite spot is at my desk. It's in the living room where all the action happens.

7.) Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?
My favorite writing food would be Tootsie Roll Pops.  The big ones, the small ones don't last long enough. (Side note: I still haven't figured out how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a Tootsie Pop!)

8.) What was the last book you read?
The last book I read was Wrong by Jana Aston and I'm currently reading Grey by E.L. James

9.) What are you working on next?
I'm in the process of working on a couple books.  I'm working on the edits for Accent Hussy which is the sister book to Innuendos.  The sequel to Pop! The sequel to First Impressions called Second Thoughts, and the third book in the It Had 2 B U series called Finding the Gray. I'm also working on a YA contemporary tentatively titled 10.
