Let me start off by saying that I really love Maya Banks. There have only been a few books of hers that I didn't like and KGI has always been one of my favorites. I have been so looking forward to Hancock's book. I just knew there was something about him that made him very "KGI like" and Ms. Banks did not disappoint me. This wasn't my favorite KGI book, but it was still a great read. I adore and I mean adore Honor. She is such a fiercely brave woman who doesn't know the word quit or give up. And Hancock is also in that mindset. I loved watching Hancock fall for the fiery woman. My stomach was in knots reading the inevitable decision that Hancock was faced with. It broke my heart watching both Hancock and Honor deal with all the struggles. I will also say, that it did take me a little bit to really get into the book, but once I got to about 25% it took off and I didn't put it down until I was finished. I also really loved seeing a little bit of the Kelly clan make an appearance. I look forward to reading more KGI books. I am really, really hoping that all of Hancock's men get their own stories as well. I give this one 4 AMAZEBALLS stars. A copy was gifted in exchange for an honest review.
