Interview With Robin Raven

Interview With Robin Raven!!

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Sure, thank you for asking. I am a writer who loves to travel and explore, which may explain why I've lived in a few different cities and states as an adult. In addition to writing and editing, I love to act and dance. I've done both professionally as well.

2. Can you tell us a little about your book?
Yes, Next Stop: Nina is the first novel that I am sharing with others. It was published in July, and I'm hoping that readers enjoy it and get something out of it. It was first inspired by the fact that I wondered about what it would be like if I could go back in time and reverse a personal tragedy from childhood.

3. Using one sentence, can you describe Next Stop: Nina?
After a woman faces the darkest parts of herself; she suddenly wakes up to find herself back in time, and, like it or not, she's given the opportunity to live much of her life all over again.

4. When did you know you wanted to write a book?
I wrote a 200-page novel on notebook paper when I was seven years old, and I've been writing ever since.

5. Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I do both, depending on the novel and the kind of inspiration I have.

6. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
Not yet. I like to travel and write in places that are new to me...

7. If  you could spend 24 hours as a fictional character, who would you chose?
Diane Chambers

8. What do you do when you are not writing?
I love to keep a diary. Wait, that's writing, too, huh? Reading is a passion of mine, and I devour memoirs because I find that everyone has thousands of interesting stories. I actually love to drive or ride in the car. I love to sing music very loudly, although I'm not a great singer, to say the least. I enjoy going to see movies at the cinema, and I adore live theater. I enjoy decoupage and making collages. I love just hanging out and talking with people.

9. What's your favorite vegan food?
Great question. There are so many. I'm a total foodie. I love pretty much everything I've tried from Real Food Daily in Los Angeles and the vegan food at Zen Palate in Manhattan. I also love Amy's Kitchen veggie loaf. That's kind of cheating, huh, as that's a lot. Also, Tofurky sandwiches on toasted bread and pumpkin pie. I'll stop now. I promise.

10. What writing projects are you currently working on?
I have a children's book that's in the works with an amazing publisher, and I can't wait to share that news very, very soon. I also am finishing up my next novel. Thanks for your interest. I really enjoy your blog.
