Brenda Kennedy:

1.   Can you tell us a little about your books?
My books are soft romance, real people facing real life challenges. They take place in Sarasota Florida visiting real places.

2    Which book was your favorite to write?
Probably.... A New Beginning. I had a blast creating new characters, and I fell in love with the leading man, Mason Myles. The other trilogy is a spinoff from the first one. I just couldn't part with him or the other characters.

3.    Do you have a favorite character to write about?
See above. lol. Mason is my favorite in the first trilogy and Raelynn, a little girl is another favorite in the 2nd trilogy.

4.    Do you have a favorite spot to write?
I have an office that is very comforting and inviting. It's my favorite.

5.   Do you listen to music while you write?
I don't. My house is full of kids, grandkids, and a husband. I love peace and quiet.

6.    What is your favorite activity to do when your not writing?  Read. Being a writer limits my time, and I love to get lost in a book.

7.    When did you know you wanted to write a book?
I always knew I could write but when I met author CM Hutton. That's when I knew I had to try it. She was very helpful and encouraging.

8.    Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I just write. I try to have a beginning and an ending, something I just have a beginning.

9.    What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I am working on A Life Worth Fighting, Book one of the Beating the Odds trilogy. It's a spin-off of the Freedom trilogy.
