BLURB:
We all have that someone we can’t forget, the summer it all began, and the sleepless nights wondering what went wrong.
For Gage Montgomery, that someone is Layla Baxter. When he was 18, he took one look at the chocolate-haired bookworm with porcelain skin and knew his life would never be the same. But it all came crashing down when Layla suddenly and mysteriously disappeared from St. Simons Island -- leaving him with nothing but her angel wing pendent around his neck. For 12 long years, Gage couldn’t shake what happened, if he’s the one to blame, wondering where Layla might be. When their paths finally cross, he’s determined to get the answers he’s spent his life searching for -- and to get the girl, too. Quiet Angel is a story of hope, survival, and lost love made new again.
“I missed you, too, but you were never far.” Gage touched his shirt with the wings inside. “You were always there.”

AUTHOR BIO:
Prescott
Lane is the author of First Position and her new release, Perfectly
Broken. She is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, and graduated from
Centenary College with a degree in sociology. She went on to receive
her MSW from Tulane University, after which she worked with
developmentally delayed and disabled children. She married her college
sweetheart, and they currently live in New Orleans with their two
children and two crazy dogs. Prescott started writing at the age of
five, and sold her first story about a talking turtle to her father for a
quarter. She later turned to writing romance novels because there
aren't enough happily ever afters in real life. Connect with Prescott

Interview with Prescott
Lane:
1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
All my books so far are
standalone contemporary romance novels. They are all very different,
but they all have a HEA. Most of my characters have gone through a lot
in their lives, so I want them happy in the end. I find cliffhangers
cruel.
2. What inspires you to write?
Oh gosh, so many things
inspire me. Sometimes it’s just a word I hear, or a song lyric.
Sometimes it’s something deeply personal to me that I went through. It
can be anything really.
3. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
I always write in bed -- after all this is romance!
4. Do you have any “odd” writing habits?
My dogs are always with me when I
write. My Cavalier, Beau usually is sitting on my head.
5. Do you listen to music while you write? Hardly ever. I’m one of those people that can’t keep still when music is on. I’d be dancing in two seconds and get nothing done.

6. Do you have a favorite character to write about?
Very tough question -- I loved writing Dr. Lorraine in
Perfectly Broken, and Poppy in Quiet Angel. They both say whatever they
want. That’s always fun to write.
7. What's one random fact about yourself that you can share?
Tomorrow is my birthday. I’m turning 40!!!
8. Are you doing any Author Signing Events this year?
I’m on a bunch of
waiting lists because I’m so bad at keeping up with stuff like that.
I’ve vowed to do better. But I’d be happy to sign anyone’s book who
would like to send it to me.
9. What book did you enjoy writing the most and why?
Picking my favorite book, would be like picking my
favorite child. I enjoyed them all for different reasons. First
Position was my first book so it will always be special. Perfectly
Broken was a very personal journey for me. I wrote that book for me as
much as for my readers. So that one always brings tears to my eyes.
And my new release, Quiet Angel is dear to my heart for an all together
different reason. The heroine, Layla, has been through a difficult
journey. The book is not about her healing, like Perfectly Broken was.
Layla is healed. And she did her healing on her own, without the help
of a man. Because she did her own work, she is able to love and have a
whole complete relationship. Of course, they have their trials. It
wouldn’t be a good romance book without a little angst.
10. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I’ve got numerous
outlines started. I’m a pack rat kind of writer. I scribble notes
down, random sentences, or scenes. What I’m drawn to at the moment are
stories where the hero/heroine are not perfect. So don’t expect my next
few books to be filled with women with tiny waists and perfect hair.
Not gonna happen.
Thanks so much for the feature.
