Title: Hot Summer Lust
Genre: Contemporary Erotic Romance
Author: Juliette Jones

Sadie Faraday is finally free. It’s summer and she just graduated from the strictest private high school in Tennessee. Ditching the confining uniform and the iron-clad rules, she wanders alone to swim in the secluded pond on the far side of her family’s farm. There, she revels – maybe a little too much – in her freedom and the warmth of the sun on her skin. Until she notices she’s not as alone as she thinks …

Elias Hayes just bought the thousand-acre property next door, as a getaway from the craziness of his high profile life as a country music superstar. Hot, hard-bodied and sun-bronzed, Elias stumbles across a sight which ignites a wild obsession and an all-consuming lust that will make this summer the hottest on record …

About Juliette Jones:

Juliette Jones writes erotic romance and lives in New York City.

I love hearing from readers so if you'd like to reach out, you can find me here:
Interview Juliette Jones:

ABA: Can you tell us a little about your books?
JJ: My first book was titled BILLIONAIRE.  It's super-steamy contemporary erotic romance about - you guessed it - a hot billionaire named Alexander who falls hard and fast for a studious virgin, Lila, when she interviews for a job as his assistant.  It's a very intense, obsessive kind of lust and they don't waste time getting to know each other!  They just can't keep their hands off each other.  BILLIONAIRE started out as Fifty Shades fan-fiction, or at least fan-fiction of the phenomenon.  I originally published it as a series of chapters, which is probably why it's as sexy as it is; each chapter is an erotic short story of its own.  It's also now available as a complete book.  The second book of the series is titled HONEY GIRL.  In this book, Alexander and Lila's lust evolves into love but there are forces beyond their control threatening to break them apart, so they have to weather the storm before they find their HEA.

I also wrote an erotic ménage novella titled WILD RIDE about a girl who's down on her luck in Oklahoma.  Her car breaks down on the way to Texas and she gets picked up by two hot cowboys in a convertible Mustang.  Pure fantasy!

And my newest release is HOT SUMMER LUST.  This one's about a country girl from Tennessee, Sadie, who just graduated from a strict boarding school and has dreams of moving to Nashville to become a singer.  In the opening scene, she's swimming naked in the pond at the far side of her family's farm, reveling in her new freedom - maybe a little too much.  Elias Hayes is a country music superstar who just bought the property next door as a getaway from his high profile life.  He sees her and instantly falls in lust.  She has no idea who he is since she's been holed up in a convent for the past few years.  Sparks start flying as soon as they meet.  It's a sweet romance, but also very hot!

ABA: Using one sentence, describe HOT SUMMER LUST.
JJ: It's a sweet, sexy erotic romance between an innocent but adventurous virgin and a hot, hard-bodied young superstar.

ABA: Will we get more of Nate, Riley and Lace from WILD RIDE?
JJ: At this point I don't have any plans to write a sequel, but I never say never.  Who knows, I might revisit them after I finish the books I have planned for this year.

ABA: Do you have a favorite spot to write?
JJ: I like to mix it up.  Mostly I write at home, in my office, but sometimes I'll go to a restaurant or coffee shop for a few hours if I haven't hit my word count.  When I'm working I try to write at least 2,000 words a day.

ABA: Do you have any "odd" writing habits?
JJ: It's not all that odd, but if I ever get stuck, I go for a walk.  Walking always helps me work through plot lines and come up with new ideas.  It words every time.  And if I happen to work a little retail therapy in along the way, even better!

ABA: Do you listen to music when you write?
JJ: Never.  I listen to music all the time when I'm not writing, but when I'm writing, I find it distracting.

ABA: Do you have a favorite character to write about?
JJ: When I'm immersed in a story, I'm sort of in love with whichever characters I'm writing about at the time.  I think you have to be in love with your characters since the goal of the romance writer, in some ways, is to get the readers to fall in love too.  So they're all favorites!  Saying that, I do have a special place in my heart for Alexander.  His voice came so easily to me.  As I write the third book in the BILLIONAIRE series, about Alexander's brother Jake, I'm finding the same thing.  Jake's a complex guy: sort of a bad boy, damaged, but with a heart of gold.  So I'm having fun getting inside his head.

ABA: What's one random fact about yourself you can share?
JJ: I'm a terrible cook!  My husband likes to cook, which is great.  I'd probably be living off Nutella if he didn't.  We also love to eat out and are lucky to live in a place where there are plenty of awesome restaurants.

ABA: What writing projects are you working on at the moment?
JJ: I tend to work on more than one book at a time.  Right now I'm working on JAKE (BILLIONAIRE, Book 3), which is told from alternating viewpoints of Jake and his love interest, Sugar.  She's a baker that runs her own restaurant and she's in an abusive relationship with a guy who can - and does - introduce a world of trouble for Jake, since Jake's had a few issues with the law.  So it's not going to be an easy road for these two.  But not to worry, they'll get their HEA eventually (and this isn't really a spoiler - all my books have HEAs!).

I'm also working on HOT SUMMER LOVE, which is the sequel to HOT SUMMER LUST.  I didn't originally plan for HOT SUMMER LUST to continue, but as I wrote it I found there was definitely more to Sadie and Elias's story.  We have to see what happens when they get to Nashville and start touring, right?

And a third book I've started is called MASTERPIECE.  This one's about a rodeo hero from Montana and a city girl art-curator from New York who travels to Montana for an art exhibition.  So that's how they meet.  Then they discover that each has something the other desperately wants.  But neither is about to give in easily.  Sparks very definitely begin to fly.

So I have a few new releases coming in 2015.  I also have a day job so I can't write as fast as I'd like, but I work every chance I get so hopefully I'll get all three out sooner rather than later!
