Blog Tour for Until Mani by Rochelle Paige ~ Until Merri by Suzanne Halliday ~ Until Twyla by Ella Fox

Until Mani: Happily Ever Alpha by Rochelle Paige

Bryson’s Steakhouse is the go-to place for the Mayson family to celebrate all their big occasions. As its owner, Mani has had a front row seat to the second generation of Maysons finding their boom. But he’s always on the outside looking in, and he doubts it’ll ever be his turn...until Vivian comes crashing into his life. Vivian doesn’t think she has a lot in common with Mani. He owns a fancy restaurant, and she’s having a hard time finding a job. She’s searching for a cheap place to rent, and he has a beautiful house. Fast food drive-throughs are more her style, and Mani is all about gourmet. To Mani, these aren’t differences. They’re opportunities to give Vivian everything she deserves.

Until Mani -
My mind was on the drink recipes I was planning to try out when I walked into the bar area of my restaurant a few hours before closing. Tuesday nights were our slowest, and there were only a couple of booths occupied and a few people seated at the far end of the bar. I quickly spotted Jayce talking to two women. I recognized the brunette as his girlfriend, but I hadn’t seen the blonde around here before. I would definitely remember if I had because she was the kind of woman a man didn’t forget.

The black dress she was wearing showed off her curves to perfection. My hands itched to get on her luscious ass and give it a squeeze. My mouth watered to taste the creamy swell of her tits. And my cock twitched at the thought of having her long legs hiked over my shoulders while I worked my way down to her pussy to savor that as well. I had the feeling she’d be more delicious than any meal I’d ever prepared, and I was determined to find out if I was right.

As I got closer, I noticed how her blond hair was pulled back in a low ponytail that drew my gaze to her graceful neck. It wasn’t a detail I’d paid attention to on any other woman before, but I wanted to nibble my way down to her pulse point and leave my mark there for other men to see. I’d never been territorial over the women I’d dated in the past, but I recognized the feeling for what it was—possessiveness for a woman when I didn’t even know her name.

Then she turned towards me, and I felt a jolt run through my body when our gazes met. Her blue eyes widened in surprise, and I couldn’t help but think that James Mayson was right. I finally understood what it meant to be hit by the boom, and it’d only taken one glance. I only hoped she was feeling it as much as I was.

Review by Gia:

Until Mani is part Happily Ever Alpha World which is inspired by the Until Series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. If you haven't read the Until Series, you'll still be fine reading this one. Rochelle Paige is one of my one click authors but I haven't read any from Aurora Rose Reynolds before and the story flowed just fine for me. It's a short quick read. Mani owns Bryson’s Steakhouse and has seen many of the Mayson family find there boom. I loved the concept of finding your boom. Mani is sweet guy but doesn't think he'll ever find the love of his life until Vivian rolls into town. She's down on her luck and trying to start over. They have this cute instant connection. She has a past she left behind but it has a way of creeping back up. It's a short story with sweet character that had me hooked.
5 Amazeballs Stars!

Until Merri: Happily Ever Alpha by Suzanne Halliday

Millicent – don’t call me Millie- Merriweather has had a thing for Tom Franklin since she was twelve years old. At the time he was a senior in high school, which meant her dreams of being his girl weren't meant to be. Her thirtieth birthday is getting closer by the hour, but she's still crushing big time on her first love. The problem is her childhood crush is now her BFF and Merri isn't sure how to get out of the friend zone. With a divorce under his belt, a Purple Heart stashed in a drawer, and a business to run, Tom Franklin chooses to avoid the dating scene. Besides, no one interests him the way Merri does. If only they weren't trapped in the friend zone. When Tom needs a date for a banquet recognizing his dad, he asks Merri. With everyone they know cheering them on from the sidelines, the comically sexy misadventures of Tom and Merri begin. What happens after that is a wild, laugh-filled, adventure.

Until Merri -
“You asked what that picture means to me. It’s simple, Tom. I’m turning thirty. My biological mommy clock is ticking louder, and this house is too empty.”
“Are you asking me to move in?”
He knew the question was messing with her in a big way and wasn’t surprised when she howled with laughter.
Slapping her hands at her waist, she teased, “What part of mommy clock and an empty house translated into free room and board for you?”
“I can help with both,” he drawled and applied some stealth tickling that almost put her on the floor from giggling.
“Stop it,” she squawked and snorted.
“Don’t wanna stop.” He grabbed her around the waist and pulled her against him. “Today was the best day I’ve had in years. It feels good, doesn’t it? Admitting how we feel?”
“I admit nothing,” she sarcastically drawled before punctuating the statement with a sniff.
He chuckled. “You want me to sweep you off your feet. Is that it?”
The universe lit up with a trillion fireworks of happiness when the snarky imp inside her grabbed the spotlight. Until Merri, his life was boring and uninteresting, but now? Now, she kept him on his toes and thrilled him straight to his soul.
“What I wanted, Tom, was a first date that did not involve fifty old-time radio operator guys who will all queue up to spin me around on the dance floor.”
“Yikes.” He pulled a face and widened his eyes. She wasn’t joking. Men were drawn to Merri. Young boys at the school where she worked. Bikers and businessmen she met at the diner. Even the hilarious posse of senior citizens and aging tech geeks in a radio club. She had a vibe that was so friendly and encouraging, people flocked to her.
She relaxed in his arms and leaned fully into him. It felt natural and easy as well as incredibly stimulating.
Kiss her, his inner voice drawled. What’s the matter with you? Kiss her, goddammit.
His eyes caught her wetting her lips. He started to lower his head. Nirvana was within reach. Their lips almost touched until the doorbell rang and startled them into jumping with surprise.
“What the hell?” he grumbled. “Are you expecting someone?”
“Oh, uh,” she stammered as her face turned red. “About that.”
The bell rang again. Whoever it was had an impatient streak.
She scurried off to answer the door, turning at the last second to look at him. The mischief in her expression did the usual to his dick.
Opening the door, he did a double take when his mother came through it and greeted Merri with warmth.
“Merri. Don’t you look wonderful? Good to see you, hon.”
“Grace, come in.”
His mouth cranked open as his kinda maybe sorta girlfriend kissed his mother hello.
“Mom?”
“Oh, Tom. Good. You’re here.” She checked her watch. “I don’t have a lot of time. I’m on my way to church for the potluck dinner committee meeting. Merri said you wanted to talk to me?”
His eyes shot to Merri. She was standing next to but behind his mom. Her expression suggested she was enjoying his shock. When she mimicked a cat licking its paws and ears, he had no choice but to laugh and go with the flow.
Life with this woman was never going to be dull.

Until Twyla: Happily Ever Alpha by Ella Fox T

wyla Penn's first few days at her new job were going pretty well- right up to the moment a man in a ski mask pulled a gun on her and tried to toss her into the backseat of his car. Luckily, the hot cop she'd seen in the bar earlier showed up and saved her. Jensen Reed never paid any attention to all the "boom" stuff his fellow officers talked about- until Twyla. With one look at the beautiful blonde with the soft brown eyes, he knew they were meant for each other. He protected her once. Now he wants it to be a lifelong job.

Until Twyla -

“You’re going to pay for these fucking shoes you snobby bitch!”

Stunned and more than a little freaked out, I yank back, kicking at his legs as I yell for him to let me go. My right shoe is so full of the booze that spilled from my tray that it goes flying, leaving me with one shoe on and one off. With no choice but to stand on one foot like a damn flamingo, I kick at the asshole manhandling me. “Get off!” I screech. He lets out a maniacal laugh as he does just that, shoving me away from him as he lets go. I fall back onto my ass with a thud I feel in my tailbone. Near tears, I take the one shoe I have left off and dump the liquid that’s collected in it. As I do, the asshole who just ruined my entire night is grabbed by the back of the shirt and yanked backward.
“Get your fucking hands off of me, bro!” melon shirt wails.
Pushing myself up from the floor, I watch as the hottest guy I’ve ever seen spins melon shirt like he’s a bit of weightless fluff. “Do you fuckin’ touch women like that often you piece of shit?” hot guy thunders.
Even though I’m soaking wet—not in a good way—covered in beer and lemon drop shots, shoeless—this is actually not a bad thing—and on the verge of bursting into tears or throwing my hands in the air and quitting, I’m completely transfixed by the hot guy. He’s about six-foot-two, broad-shouldered, and muscular but lean. The way the black tee he’s wearing clings to his sexy arms is drool-worthy. It shouldn’t be so hot that the expression on his face is one of anger, but it totally is. His chiseled features are commanding. In combination with the hot-as-hell air of authority that emanates from him, he’s literally breathtaking.
“I asked you a question,” he grates, his focus on melon shirt.
Holy crap, for a second there I forgot about the douche who just manhandled me. Hot guy has got me way too distracted.
“I said let me go, asshole!”
Instead of stepping in to help, melon shirt’s group of friends are frantically waving their arms as they tell him to shut the hell up. “Blaine, he’s a fuckin’ cop!” someone in the room yells.
Hot guy smirks menacingly at Blaine, whose face has just turned a nasty shade of green. “Your friends are right. You can go ahead and call me Officer Asshole.”

USA Today Bestselling Author Ella Fox has learned a bunch of stuff along the way but the most important of all those things is that anything is possible when you try. In 2012 she took a big leap of faith and published her first book, Broken Hart. Since then she’s written fifteen more full-length books and several novellas– and every one is a reminder that you can live your dream as long as you work for it. Ella’s favorite things are music, movies, traveling, The Foo Fighters and, of course, reading. This isn’t a surprise considering the fact that her mom is USA Today Bestselling Author Suzanne Halliday.
