Blurb:
Can you keep a secret?I grew up sick.
Let me clarify.
I grew up believing that real love stories include a martyr or demand great sacrifice to be worthy.
Because of that, I believed it, because I made myself believe it, and I bred the most masochistic of romantic hearts, which resulted in my illness.
When I lived this story, my own twisted fairy tale, it was unbeknownst to me at the time because I was young and naรฏve. I gave into temptation and fed the beating beast, which grew thirstier with every slash, every strike, every blow.
Triple Falls wasnโt at all what it seemed, nor were the men that swept me under their wing. But in order to keep them, I had to be in on their secrets.
Secrets that cost us everything to keep.
Thatโs the novelty of fiction versus reality. You canโt re-live your own love story, because by the time youโve realized youโre living it, itโs over. At least that was the case for me and the men I trusted my foolish heart to.
Looking back, Iโm convinced I willed my story into existence due to my illness.
And all were punished.โฃโฃ

Review by Gia:
When I was anticipating this release, I read a Facebook post by Kate. This was the post,"โKate, is this MMF?โ
โKate, is this a triangle?โ
โKate, is this Reverse Harem?โ
โKate, thatโs a vague blurb.โ
Me...๐คญ
I think thereโs no such thing as a โbook NORMALโ for me.
Iโm not trying to piss people off by being tight lipped. But this IS a romantic suspense duet. And I can keep a secret. I have for four months. So I hope you guys donโt hold it against me."
After reading that I had this just oh wow feeling and I decided I wasn't going to read the blurb of Flock and I was just going to on in blind. I'm not going answer any of those questions from Kate's post in my review and my review is probably going to be vague but I don't want to ruin this great story for you.
So there I was with an ARC of Flock on my kindle and it's 9 pm and I'm in bed. It's way too early to go to sleep was I decide to start the ARC and I totally bracing myself to get sucked in and lose sleep. Well the prologue didn't do it for me, it didn't suck me in like I expected. I didn't make it through Chapter 1 before I rolled over and went to sleep. I get up early to the next morning because I went to sleep early which is good thing because when I pick up Flock again to read, I was hooked by the end of Chapter 3 and I didn't want to put it down.
These characters are great. I think we are only at the surface of many of them and they have secrets and mystery to them. The story-line is intriguing. I don't know where it's going or when the mystery and secrets will come out and it's refreshing not to know. I'm hooked and can't wait for the next one. The story may had started out I little rough for me but it turned out that I totally loved it. This is one you should one click.
