 About Krista Sandor:

If there’s one thing Krista Sandor knows for sure, it’s that romance saved her. After she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2015, her world turned upside down. During those difficult first days, her dear friend sent her a romance novel. That kind gesture provided the escape she needed and ignited her love of the genre. Inspired by the strong heroines and happily ever afters, Krista decided to write her own romance series. Today, she is an MS Warrior and living life to the fullest. When she’s not writing, you can find Krista running 5Ks and chasing after her growing boys in her adopted home of Denver, Colorado.

Interview With Krista Sandor:

1. Tell us about your books.

Langley Park is a steamy, second chance, small-town romance series comprised of five standalone novels—three are available now. The characters are interconnected, but each couple has their own unique story that takes place in the quaint town of Langley Park outside Kansas City.

I grew up all over: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas, Illinois, Kansas, Florida, and Colorado. To create Langley Park, I drew upon the Brookside neighborhood in Kansas City—one of my favorite places when I was a teenager—and the Denver Wash Park area. A lovely neighborhood near where I live now.  My husband is an architect, and he helped me draw a mock-up of the town.

I love second chances. My characters meet as teens, and an encounter or experience brings them together and then rips them apart. Years later, they’re both back in Langley Park, and sparks fly. I also love to weave a hint of suspense into each story.

2. Do you have a release day tradition?

I love to run. Before the day begins, I go for an early run on the trails by my home. I listen to the playlist I put together for the book. It’s my way to bring a close to the entire process.

3. How do you come up with character names?

Some names just come to me. Other names have sentimental connotations. I named the lake in the town after a teacher I had in high school.

4. Do you have a special time you write?

I write while my boys are at school. I need to hit 1,500 words a day, and I use the Word Keeper app to stay on track.

5. Do you have a favorite food or drink nearby when writing?

I love Califia dairy-free espresso. When I’m at the coffee shop I’m crazy boring—decaf Pike’s Place.

6.  Do you have a favorite spot to write?

I love to write outdoors.

7. If you had a superpower what would it be?

Invisibility!

8. What projects are you currently working on?

Currently, I’m writing the last book in the Langley Park Series (Releases March 2019). After that, I’ve got a super-sexy, enemies to lovers book on tap. The first few chapters will be available in December!
