The Last Link

Synopsis -

The book entails the journey of a young girl who is a Physics student. She gets into contact with a group of self realized students and ventures into the world of spiritual knowledge. By dint of their knowledge in this field which stems from a fusion of Hindu and Greek mythologies, the four students explain self realization to the protagonist. They are part of an Elemental chain which has caused each of them to have a characteristic of one of the five Elements. Prompted by nature, the protagonist delves into meditation and tries to attain self realization. As the loss of a loved one rattles her, she is forced to move past the grief and has to learn to channel her energy to influence nearby force fields because she needs to prepare against the impending doom of the advent of five people who are an anti thesis of the five Elements.
The book metaphorically speaks of the internal struggle  which human beings face as they try to attain self realization. It unravels a striking resemblance between Greek and Hindu philosophies which is a novel concept.

The heads of different language departments of the Assam Education Board also held the book in high regard. This also lead to a national news channel covering the event where I, too, appeared and several newspapers followed suit. It was sold out in India within a few months of release and is now being loved by the audience in the UK as well.
