As Malakai walked out of the hospital room he saw his brothers standing in the hall. He walked up to the group and said, “Why don’t we all go over to Lucy’s diner and eat before we head out? That way ya’ll can tell me what the fuck is up with all those looks you keep giving me and each other.” They all looked at each other then back at him. “What? Don’t tell me Lucy’s diner is gone.” No one said anything. “Alright, damn it, enough is enough of this shit. What the hell haven’t I been told?”
“Like we told you, little brother, a lot has changed while you’ve been gone.” “Well, if the diner is gone let’s go to Nate’s BBQ.”
Zach walked over closer to him and said, “Kai – the other woman that was shot, well I didn’t want to say anything before you saw Mom, we thought it would be best. And then we didn’t make it back up here last night. Fuck, why am I the one to always give you bad news.”
“Because you’re the oldest and you’ve always been the one to do it.” Isaac said. Then he turned to face Malakai. “It’s Liberty.”
“Son of a fucking bitch,” Kai exploded. “And you motherfuckers didn’t tell me before this. What the fuck, you fucking assholes?” He started walking, then stopped when Jeremiah caught up to him.
“Come on. I’ll take you up to her room. I’ve got her in ICU on the fifth floor.” They headed to the elevators and Malakai noticed Caleb falling into step behind them. “Kai she’s going to be fine. The bullet did some muscle damage, we went in and did the repair work. She’s going to be fine.”
“Jesus Christ, why the hell didn’t one of you tell me yesterday? Fuck this! Life in this fucking town has sure gone to hell. And what the hell was she doing at the fucking Sheriff’s office in the first place?”
“You’ll have to ask her that, Kai,” Caleb said as he got in the elevator too.
Malakai looked at Caleb. “I don’t need you to come hold my hand. I’m not going to make a scene.” He was pissed at everyone that had kept him from knowing about Liberty.
“Emma is in the waiting room, Kai. She was the other one that was shot. I need to make her leave with me. She’s been here since they brought Libby in,” Caleb said.
“Oh shit, I’m sorry. Is she okay? Sorry for the attitude. But fuck – the shooting at the school, Teddy’s head, Mom’s heart attack, guess my good nature has been compromised.”
“What good nature?” both his brothers said.
“Caleb, Jere – I might as well go ahead and tell you both now. I should have told ya’ll sooner. Liberty and I have been seeing each other the whole time I’ve been gone.”

Tucker Stone

Excerpt

“Don’t you want to know my name?” She murmured against his lips.
“I do know your name. It’s Mine…do you have a problem with that?” Tucker told her.
“Not tonight.”
“Good answer.” He said as he claimed her lips, convincing her she was his, if only for now, if only for this one night. She wanted him, craved the feelings he was creating in her. Her body seemed to come alive with his touch, the taste of him on her lips – her tongue. He slipped his hand down between them, caught the edge of her skirt and slowly pulled it up her body. Then she felt his fingers against her skin as he pushed her lace thong downward. She wiggled her hips trying to help him. “Step out of them”, she couldn’t get enough of him and made her mind up she would take everything he would give her. She wanted him in ways she didn’t know she could want any man. It wasn’t any man though – it’s this man. This one man. Tucker.
“You’re so wet. Is this for me? Or for him?”
“You, only you Tucker. I want you, only you.”
“If I take you the way I want to. The way I need to – you’ll be mine. Not just for tonight – but mine for as long as I want you. Tell me you want this. Tell me you’re willing to be mine for as long as I want you.”
“I’m willing.”
“Say it. Say you are willing to be mine for as long as I want you.” He said as he bit the skin below her ear and sucked leaving his mark.
“I am willing to be yours for as long as you want.”
He picked her up in his arms and carried her to the bed. “Good answer.”

 Storm Reaper

Excerpt

…there’s a storm coming! No one knows his name. But they know he’s coming. And they know he’s bringing death with him. The night they came his Mother pushed his baby brother into his arms and told him to run and not look back. And he did. They raped-tortured-and killed his Mother. They took his older brother’s. Every year on the anniversary of the destruction of his life they sent him a message reminding him how helpless he’d been, how he’d run like a scared child. Now he’s not a little boy any more that they can taunt with their messages – he’s full grown. He’s waited – and now he’s done waiting. He sent a message of his own. Hell is coming…and with it is death – yours.
There's a storm on the horizon. It's coming, I can feel it in the air. My heart pounds with every rumble of the thunder and the streaks of lightening crackling send shocks through my body. There's something else in the air - I hear the whispers - they say 'he's' coming. I don't know who 'he' is - but they're afraid. Several have packed up and left town - but others say it won't do them any good to run and hide because there ain't no place 'he' won't find them. Fifteen years ago 'they' did something evil and now 'he' is coming back for revenge. I've heard the rumors - I hope 'he' gets the justice he craves. I sit here on the picnic table watching the skies - yep there's a storm coming - but it's not the skies 'they' need to fear. It's HIM.
Lightening dances across the sky. It’s black as the pits of hell out here on the road. The only one riding with me now is Satan himself. I’ve waited fifteen years for this, and no one will stop me now. I will have justice for what they did to my family. I will give them only one choice – the color of body bag they’ll go out in.
I’ve stopped for the night, the weather is bad, and I’m hungry. I want a cold beer, a hot woman ready and willing to give me what I want – and tonight there are no limits.
They know I’m coming, and they know there’s no place to hide – no escape. Blood for blood, life for life – if I die then so be it.

Alexander Noble

Excerpt

I never planned to come home. Hell, I didn't want to. This damn town holds nothing but bad memories for me. And nothing has fucking changed. No, I didn't want to come home, but I'm here now for another damn funeral. Last time, I buried my parents, my little sister and brother--my entire family. This time, we're laying to rest two of the best friends a man could have. It's a damn good thing the motherfuckers who did this are dead; but fuck, I can’t help but wish that they were still alive so I could find them and make sure they suffered a long, slow death. Maybe it's time I did come home to stay, came out of the shadows--but never completely. I prefer the dark and the dark prefers me. I've lived off the grid for a long time now, most of the time alone. Yeah, maybe it is time.
I watched as Zachariah spoke to the people who came out to the cemetery, then start over to where I stood, with the weight of his family on his shoulders. We hugged and, in that deep voice of his, he said, "Alex it was good of you to come. We weren't sure if you'd get word in time." He reached in his pocket and pulled out a white envelope with Alexander Noble written in a bold script across the front. "This was left at the house for you. I brought it with me today, just in case." I guess he saw the pain and confusion of my expression, so he quickly added, "No it's not from him. Shade found it in the guest book from the funeral home." I took it from him and stuck it in my pocket.
I watched from the trees as he stood there. I knew he'd come. I knew he couldn't resist, he's always been honor bound; it’s good to know some people don't change. I took everything from him when he was a child, and now I've taken his best friend. I've left a message for him, a warning, I will always be there to take away anyone he dares to love.

NOBLE EXPLOSION

Excerpt

The ‘explosion’ rocked the ground as debris from the building filled the air and shot out into the crowd like missiles. Then they heard that all too familiar sound, the hard hammering of the Apache helicopters came and the rapid fire from the weapons rang out and people began to fall and others began to run.
People sprung in to action – mothers scrambling for their children – husbands for their families. But there were those that went rushing toward the wounded, running into the line of fire to save others.
The rapid fire continued, ‘mother-fucking-sonsofbitches, motherfucker, fuck-this-shit’ Zachariah Stone repeated to himself over and over as he ran toward the fallen building. His family was in that fucking heap of what use to be the Montana County Courthouse. ‘fuck fuck fuck’ what the hell is happening? This isn’t some damn warzone, this is his hometown. He started grabbing and throwing huge stones and beams as if they were tinker toys. “Just be still, let me get this fucking shit off you.” Zach said gritting his teeth. He held out his hand saying, “Goddamnit Noble what the fuck is happening?”
“Fuck if I know.” They began to move further into the building, “Appears some motherfuckingsonsofbitches have declared war on us.” Noble said.
“Then I reckon it’s a good day to die.” Zach said.
“Indeed.” Noble replied.

Annie Blackhawk

Excerpt

The words Learn to Live With It are the six most redundant words ever, Learn To Live With It!!!
How many doctors have uttered those words, dozens that’s for sure, and each one of them should know how ignorant those six words make them come across. Those six small words can completely undo all the expertise, skill, training and knowledge that they have. The only time they will ever see and learn how ignorant they are will be when they’ve had those words said to them. The words that should be said are, we’re so sorry for you loss now you’re going to have to learn to live without it.That would make better sense.
For Annie Blackhawk the truth hit hard, you can never go back.Well she learned you can go back but, it’s never the same when you do. Doesn’t matter that promises were made, or plans made for a future, it just doesn’t matter because nothing is constant in life but change, and Annie changed the day she came home.
Coming home from an absence is never easy but coming home after two extended tours of Afghanistan is more than just a small adjustment. She’d just made five stops all in different states- five times she’d gone up to the door to pay her respects.Five of her team members, well her entire team did indeed come home, but five of them came home in body bags and flag draped coffins on the well known Angel Flight.
Why she survived is something she thinks about daily.

Sebastian…
Exquisite, quite simply exquisite, is my Kate. She’s fighting it, as I knew she would. Now she was in my arms again and this time I would not allow her to leave.
I felt her as she tilted her head up. Even blindfolded, she tried to see me. Unable to help myself, I placed my finger beneath her chin and brought my mouth down on hers. She immediately opened for me and our tongues began to explore. I was surprised at how hard it was for me to pull away. She whimpered when I took my mouth from hers. Her body was burning for release and, though I had planned to wait, I slipped my hand down between her legs and my fingers into her wet, hot pussy and gave her the release she needed. I was relentless with her though, using my fingers stretching her and pumping into her with force. She spread her legs wider for me and pushed her body against my hand. I stopped and she cried out.
“What do you want, Kate?”
“You know what I want,” she answered.
“Tell me what you want.”
“I want you to make me come.”
“You have yet to address me as I asked you to.” I began to caress her tight clit with my fingers, twisting it and tugging on it causing her to jerk and cry out. “Tell me who I am and I will give you what you need.” I pushed two fingers deep inside her, opening and turning them with force. She pushed against my hand. I added two more fingers and began to move them hard inside her. I felt her body tighten on my fingers and I knew she was close.
“Who am I, Kate?”
“Master,” she cried out.
“Whose Master am I?”
“Mine. You are my Master.”
At last it begins.

Excerpt from Midnight Moon

There's an old, very old, legend in these parts.  A witch lived and died right here. Yes indeed she was burned at the stake right over there. Sometimes when the wind blows you can still smell the wood and her! It's said she never cried out...not at all. But she cursed the lot of them.  'evil is as evil does, sing to me the demons of the night and bring to them this evil plight, bind them here to feel my wrath and keep their feet upon this path. on and on my curse shall be until the house does meet the sea.'
That house sits up there on that hill.  And when the moon is full it cast a shadow.  It is said that witch breathed her last breath in to that house - making it the host of her soul.

Simon Blackthorne is a retired assassin,at least he was retired for three days, six hours and thirty seven minutes. It was great while it lasted. The call came at just the wrong time, she was blonde with a body to fall into and stay there. He should have gotten rid of that damn phone, but for some reason he’d been unable to do so. It vibrated and he ignored it, finally the fifth time of the phone dancing around on the nightstand Simon picked it up and looked at the caller ID. Son of a fucking bitch, if it had been anyone else in the world  he would have ignored it, but you simply can not ignore the President of The United States Of America. Especially when he is your best friend.
He woke up the blonde and told her to leave, she wasn’t too happy about it, but in the end she was gone and he was dressed with his ‘go bag’  already sitting by the door.
His call was answered on the second ring. “Damn well took you long enough”.
“What’s wring Noah?”
“Claire knows. She fucking knows.”
“How the hell did she find out?”
“I don’t know. But you and I both know she’s her daddy’s girl, and she’ll tell him the first chance she gets”.
“And? Are you saying you want her stopped?”
“Yes. I don’t have a choice. We don’t have a choice. Hell if this got out - well I don’t have to explain this to you.”
“Where are the kids?”, Simon asked him.
“They’re with my mom and dad in Seattle”,
“Where is Claire?”
“She is at the beach, at the High Tides. I told her I would be there in the morning “.
“Call her in the morning and say you’re running late.I’ll take care of it”.
