Interview With Linda Oaks:
1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
I currently have five books published as to date with a new release set for late 2018 through my publisher, Painted Hearts Publishing. Disappear is a romantic suspense full of twists and turns. It's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

My most recent release, Holding Sky, is about a bull rider/local celebrity who returns home to recover from an injury and encounters the girl he left behind. It's a steamy, second chance romance that's certain to melt your heart. I love books with feisty heroines and alpha males with a side of sweet.

I also have a series available. The Chasing Series, and all four books can all be read as standalones. You can pick up any one in the series and start reading without completely being lost, but I do recommend starting with the first one, Chasing Rainbows. It's YA, and where all the characters for the series make their appearance. Each book gets steamier and steamier as the series progresses. Also, I'm a big believer in the happily ever after.

2. What inspires you to write?
 Anything and everything.

3. How many books have you written?
Thirteen in all, I think, with five published as to date. Which is your favorite? That's a really tough question. I truly love them all, but I might have a soft spot for Nate Lucas from The Way Home, only because this book was from a male POV. It was a bit of a challenge for me to put myself in Nate's head for an entire book when I usually write from a female POV or alternate chapters and POV.

4. Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
I really wished I had a set time everyday I could sit down and write. My day is definitely not structured. I do try to write though either early morning or late at night when there's not as much going on around here.

5. Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?
Coffee, Diet Dr. Pepper, Lemonade and chewing gum. I must have gum to write and definitely that first cup of coffee or all is lost.

6. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
No, but I do enjoy sometimes writing outdoors beneath the Silver Maple trees in my front yard.

7. If your fairy godmother waved her wand and whisked you away to the location of your choice, which place would you choose?
I'd choose either Oregon or California. They're on my bucket list. I know you only asked for one, and I've already listed two, but I'd also love to travel to Ireland someday. It's so hard to choose only one.

8. What writing projects are you currently working on?
I currently have three WIPs that I'm working on, and they're all romance. Yay for romance!
