Interview With Cary Hart Author:
1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
I write real, raw romance! In my stories the characters deal with life’s everyday struggles and unwanted drama, they talk about the ugly and they become the broken. Everyone deserves a happy ending, but sometimes before you can appreciate the light, there has to be darkness.
2. What inspires you to write?
It's usually a combination of things. Sometimes I'm triggered by a song, maybe something that was said or what is happening in my surroundings. Everyday life has a huge part to play in my creative process.
3. How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
I have written nine books, four of them are currently published. My favorite is Love Conquer, the third book in the Battlefield of Love Series. Not only does Love Conquer touch on serious subjects, it has a few light hearted moments that will have you laughing out loud.
4. Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
The summer has been chaotic for sure. Writing whenever I can find the time, but when the kiddos are in school, I write during the day.
5. Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?
I always have coffee on hand. As far as munchies, it just depends on the mood. Sometimes it's skittles or this sweet and spicy trail mix.
6. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
My bed. I have this adjustable lap desk I keep beside my bed.
7. If you had a superpower, what would it be?
To read minds. I'm a curious person, what can I say?
8. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I'm finishing up Protect Me and diving right into Make Me completing the Spotlight Collection. In 2019, I have a rom-com series coming out and a couple standalones that I can't wait to dive into!
