The Last Jumper by Regina Paul
Blurb:
Love is never easy, when you're the last jumper…
From the moment his family is murdered, Rain is on a mission to kill or send back to hell as many winagi or
demons as he can. To do so he must "jump" from one body to another,
allowing him to live the equivalent of several lifetimes, and to follow
humanity and the demons out into space.
When
Rain finally reawakens from his latest stasis jaunt, he discovers that
five centuries have passed and that he is on a new colony planet, one he
has no memory of. He also discovers the winagi are killing again, and he is the last jumper alive.
Connor,
Stephen, and Jesse are husbands and fathers. On a world where some men
are able to procreate, quad relationships are the norm, and Jumpers are
just a part of their ancient history, Rain is something of an anomaly.
The three men take Rain home with them, and help him to recover, at
least physically. It becomes clear though that Rain hasn't just been
fighting demons outside himself, but ones from within as well.
Will
these three men and their sons be able to help Rain heal? Love isn't
part of the bargain for Rain or so he thinks, but bonding with Connor,
Stephen, and Jesse may be the only thing that can save his new family
and their world.

Interview with Regina Paul:
Sure,
I write what I like to call Speculative Romance which basically just
means I LOVE to cross genres. I love scifi romance, paranormal gay
romance, paranormal romantic suspense and my books follow along those
lines. For example, the book before my current release The Last Jumper
is a scifi/paranormal/fantasy/gay polyamory romance, how's that for
crossing genres!
Just about everything. I get ideas from television, my own day dreams, actual night time dreams, artwork you name it. I love asking myself what if?
I've written fifteen books total, but presently only twelve of them are published. Choosing a favorite would be really difficult, but I think the one I currently love the most because it really stretched me as a writer is The Last Jumper.
4. Do you have a special time to write or how is your day structured?
Like
many authors I have a day job so the majority of my weekdays are mostly
filled with that. My writing is almost exclusively done on the weekends
when I'm off work, although I do sometimes write in the evenings.
I love decaffeinated green tea, so in the winter I drink a lot of it. In the summer I like to drink ice water or ice cold diet sierra mist or what they're now calling diet mist twist.
Yes,
I write in my office with headphones on so I'm not distracted by my
husband's slot machine sounds and the television. I like to play jazz
music in the background.
7. If your fairy godmother waved her wand and whisked you away to the location of your choice, which place would you choose, and why?
I would want to go to Greece because dang it's beautiful there and the ocean and need I say more?
8. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I'm
currently working on a proposal for The Albion series at Leap of Faith
Publishing. The series is set in the Victorian period, and as I love to
do, I'm going to turn it upside down and am working on a steampunk
paranormal f/f romance to add to the series. Hopefully, they'll love the
idea as much as I do!
