The Ancient:

Alasdair Connery has seen a lot in ten thousand years.
He’s the first of his kind; the father of all nightwalkers. Together with his trusted assistant Edgar, he trolls for victims to feed from at his time of blood lust. When he’s invited to a wedding, he meets his perfect choices—a married couple. Bruce and Jules have their own sets of insecurities and secrets. She hides a wealth of insecurities under a shield of bravado, and Bruce? He hides the fact that he can’t stop thinking about the love of his life—his college flame Dr. Jeffrey Bayfield. With Alasdair’s powers of seduction working a little too well, he finds that both of them are growing somewhat dependent on him.
Growing increasingly annoyed at their emotional baggage, some of which he is responsible for, he’s willing to put up with their games for a short time, but something has to happen before his blood fever is over for another fifty years and he has to go back to donors once again, unable to kill humans for their red gift. He rather likes the killing part.
And what is he going to do about Edgar’s own growing feelings for him?

“That’s why I have to attend this odious gathering in these ridiculous clothes; at least they can’t make me give up my kilt,” Alasdair said, chuckling. He reached up and cupped Edgar’s flushed face in his hands.
“I have to scout for the willing.  We can’t hunt cold all the time, my dear, especially now.”  He stepped back a little.  “Now let’s finish getting me dressed, and when we’re done, I’ll take my taste.  Will that make you feel better?”
     Edgar nodded eagerly.

Heart's Embers:

It's been five long but happy years since Bruce and Jeffrey got married. Bruce has his doctorate in psychology now, and he and his husband plan on opening a practice together.

But life has a way of interfering.

A tragic accident tests both of them, and Jeffrey grows increasingly concerned about Bruce's fragile state of mind, especially when it's revealed that the accident was anything but. Who could hate them so much?

And will they try again? Alasdair knows.

And he will do everything in his power to keep both Bruce and Jeffrey safe.

Heart's Embers teaser:
Grinning, Dane rescued the leather bound diploma from under Bruce's arm. He knew what was coming.
     “Hello, Dr. Bayfield,” Jeffrey whispered.
“Hello to you too, Dr. Bayfield,” Bruce replied. “I have a slight emergency; I might need mouth to mouth.”

Talk of the Town:

Craig Hanson is out and proud, forty, fit, and fabulous. He's also the host of the most popular talk show on TV in New York City.
But is it enough?
His boyfriend Mike is the ideal beefy golden boy--except he's getting resentful, and increasingly physical when they argue, which is more often than not. Craig seems perfectly content to go on this way, until one day when he has a guest on his show--a guest who claims to be a 600 year old vampire. He seems weirdly drawn to this man, but--there aren't any such things as vampires. Everyone knows that.

Carl has been waiting his whole long life for someone like Craig. Thousands of women and men have been considered and discarded until he guests on Craig's show, but can he convince Craig that his feelings are for --literally--forever? Will Craig want to give up his humanity for eternal love as Carl's bondmate?

And will he be able to do something with the problem of Mike?

Talk of the Town teaser:
“Let’s see your teeth!”    A huge burst of laughter erupted, and the edges of Craig’s lips quirked as if to suppress a smile.
Carl gave a sniff and raised one of his eyebrows, looking at the woman in the front row who had yelled.
“I am not a horse, Madame,” he said, using a quiet, threatening tone. “If I showed them to you, I would have to kill you.”   Laughter erupted, and Craig grinned as he turned to look at Carl.
     Carl wasn’t smiling.

Sins of the Sire:

Craig and Carl, happily bonded, married, and deep into their vampire existence, are surprised and gratified about the stunning success of their Broadway play, Talk Show, and see nothing but good things ahead—
--until an offer comes to bring the show across the pond to London.
Carl hasn’t been to London, nor Oxford, since he was turned hundreds of years ago, and he’s reluctant to tempt fate. He most definitely doesn’t wish to see his maker, the ancient Celt Ninian Na Connacht, again but—this is business. Craig understands that reluctance, having seen those terrible pictures in his head when he and Carl had first met, but the rest of the crew, including Oz, their director and the third member of their vampire triad, can’t stop talking about it.
Against his better judgment, Carl reluctantly agrees to the one week limited run, thinking he’ll just stay away from Oxford and hide out at the theatre. After all, it’s been almost six hundred years, and Ninian has undoubtedly moved on.

One thing he failed to take into consideration, however, is his mother in law…

Sins of the Sire teaser:
“Why did I even start writing this shit?”
Disgusted, Carl clicked SAVE and closed his laptop. This was a departure from his usual articles and essays, and that beautiful fluke that was Talk Show. It was his first attempt to write a novel, and no one but himself, Craig, and Oz would know that it wasn’t fiction. One other, perhaps-
Ninian.
Even the thought of him gave Carl an involuntary shudder. It had been over six hundred years since that interlude in the library at Oxford, and that ancient Celt still had the power to rattle him.
His sire, his maker—

 About Kathy Griffith:
I'm an over 60 married mom and gramma living in Denver Colorado, and I've wanted to write since I was a child, but life got in the way until four years ago. May favorite stories to write are of attractive male supernatural beings (read vampires)  who have a tendency to fall in love with human men and don't really know what to do about it--but they figure it out eventually. I'm active in politics and LGBT issues, and don't hesitate to give my opinions when asked. :) If you search Amazon for my books, pay no attention to that red-haired comedian with a similar name--she has an annoying tendency to come first before me :)
