Interview With Teresa Gabelman:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?

This is probably the hardest question I’m ever asked. I can tell you about my favorite authors books without batting an eye, but to talk about my own….yeah, not so easy. Weird, I know. If you like sexy alpha vampires, women who don’t take sh*t, action, humor, romance and always HEA, then give it a try. Damon, which is the first book in the Protectors, is only .99 and is full length. :)

2.  When did you know you wanted to write a book?

It was after I started reading a lot. I would thinking during, what if the hero did this and what if the heroine did that, etc. I thought I would give it a shot, not that I could do any better, absolutely not. Just something I wanted to try and fell in love doing it. Always had a vivid imagination so I think I wrote stories in my head as a little girl, just didn’t realize that one day that imagination would end up on paper so to speak.

3. Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?

Diet Pepsi and anything chocolate!

4. If you ever experience a case of writer’s block, how do you cure it?

Scream….and then calm myself. I usually walk away for a bit and then go back and just write. It may not be the best or even make sense, but I will write whatever and then go back to reread, laugh at myself and then fix what needs to be fixed which is usually all of it.

5. When you write do you write the first draft on a computer or paper and pen?

I always write on my laptop. The first book I ever wrote was on paper, because I wrote it when I was working in a printing company so I had to be sneaky. ;)

6.  What is a usual writing day like for you?  How is it structured?

Nothing about my writing is structured, unfortunately. I can write any time of the day/night. I can work in complete silence or with phones ringing, tv going, dogs barking, husband snoring, people talking, etc. I’ve written at MMA events, wrestling events and doctors offices surrounded by people. When the characters are talking I’m writing somewhere.

7.  Are you attending any Author Signing Event this year?

Yes, I am and I cannot wait. Love meeting readers and new friends.

8. What are writing projects are you currently working on?

I just finished Blaze which is the 10th book in the Protectors Series and releases Feb, 28th. I will be starting the third book in the Lee County Wolves soon. Also working on a secret project.
