On the patio either staring at the ocean, when I’m in Santa Barbara, or staring at rose garden when I’m in Sacramento. That is when it isn’t freezing. It’s freaking cold right now.
4. Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?
I guzzle coffee and shovel chocolate while I write. Nonstop. And after 5 wine or scotch

No music while I write, but I do have a playlist, usually only one song, for each book that I may listen to 4-5 times before I start to write.
