Blog Tour for Broken by Christa Cervone

* SYNOPSIS *

Shattered.
Destroyed.
Ruined.

That's what I did.
I took everything that we had, and crushed it all,
Destroying Garrett in the process.

I can't take it back,
Can't fix it,
Can't deny it.

But yet, I try,
I try to drown out the pain with alcohol,
Numb the agony with mindless, loveless sex.
Nothing works, because I may have ruined us,
But I'm the one who's shattered.

Like a dream or quite possibly a nightmare,
Garrett walked back into my life.

And now, I'm torn,
Torn between what I want,
The man I've always loved,
And what I think I deserve.

But am I too broken to have the future I've always wanted?

STANDALONE. Second Chance Contemporary Romance: Full length novel.

* INTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR CHRISTA CERVONE *

What is one interesting thing your readers may not know about you?
I’m not a drinker. In fact, I can’t remember the last I’ve had even a sip of alcohol. Nor, am I the life of the party. You’ll have a better chance finding me sitting in the corner talking to a friend, then me living it up out on the dance.

Does writing energize or exhaust you?
Both. When the scene or chapter I’m working on is going well, the words are flowing and I’m in the zone, everything is hearts and flowers. When my characters are not cooperating, the expletives fly and my poor editor usually gets a lengthy inbox message begging for her help.

Do you try more to be original to yourself or to deliver to readers what they want?
I’ve never been one to follow trends. Those who know me can attest to this. I create stories and characters that appeal to me, if it so happens others love them as much as I do, that’s an added bonus.

What’s your favorite under-appreciated novel?
Down for the Count: The Complete Series in my opinion is very under-appreciated. The story is powerful and real. The characters, you’ll want to hug them one minute and slap them the next.

What is your preferred method to have readers get in touch with or follow you website, personal blog, Facebook page
 Facebook. I’m a FB junkie.

What does a fun-filled Friday night entail for you?
A fun-filled Friday night to me would be that I don’t have to cart my kids around to one of their numerous activities. Crawling into my bed early and knowing I don’t have to get back up is music to my ears.
What is one piece of advice that you would give to aspiring authors?
Find someone you don’t know to read your work. Getting an honest unbiased opinion is priceless in this world.

When do you expect to release next?
I’m hoping to release, Dream On, in the winter of 2017. I never commit myself to an official release date until I know for certain the book will be done.
