Battleground
is book two in the Battler Series. It can not be read as a standalone,
you must read Battler first. This one picks up where the last one
left off. After the way Battler ending I couldn't wait to pick this one
up.
Riletta (Riley) has a lot goign on in this one. I liked who is never gave up. Drasko
and Trent have declared Riley dead to them. I felt really bad for
Riley and I was a little mad at Trent and Drasko. Drasko came off as
more angry and rude then Trent did. There are some new characters in
this one. Jayce is hired to be Riley's bodyguard. I liked him but I was also a little suspicious of him. Thorne
is the new girl at school and her and Riley hit it off right away. I
was always a little suspicious of her too. I was wondering if either of
them had ulterior motives. There were definitely twists I didn't see
coming. I loved this one!!
