A.  A Beautiful Mess Series has always been a favorite for most of my readers and it's of course near and dear to my heart.  Alexander Burnham is an alpha in his own league.

Q: Do you listen to music when you write, or do you prefer it quiet?

A: I listen to music. I NEED music. LOL. For those that have read my books, you know that music tends to play a pretty important role, especially in the Beautiful Mess series. Music can really help you get into the mood you need to be in for particular scenes, so I'm constantly listening to it. I include my playlists at the end of each book, as well, so you know what music really inspired certain scenes in my books.

Q:  Do you get writers block and if you do what do you do to move on?

A: Sometimes I do. The most difficult thing about writing is getting from point A to Z. I don't outline but I do know the big events I need to happen in the book. So in between those big events is what can get difficult. Normally, when one section is tripping me up, I'll move on and work on something else. Or I'll go for a run or do yoga. Usually, stepping back from the laptop clears my mind and helps me re-focus and see what I was missing before.

Also, sometimes, I'll go back and re-read what I've written from the beginning. Nine times out of ten, there's something in the story that wasn't working that's now causing the block. So find out what it is and that usually removes the block!
