Not Your Hero
She's a single mom and even I'm smart enough to know there will only complications getting involved with her, no matter how good she might be for me.

Give Me This
Coming Fall 2016!
One truth can explain everything.
Declan Kelly has spent his entire adult life saving people, all the while avoiding any real connections or emotions. He’s already been destroyed once, and after she ruined him, he knows he’ll never love again.
Almost two decades later, Declan moves back home to raise his daughter around his family. He tried to prepare himself for how he would react when he saw Amie, but could never have anticipated just how hard it would be to remain unaffected.
Amie Dotson knew from the moment she lied that Dec wouldn’t forgive her… but she didn’t want him to. Lying was easier than the truth because he would have stayed for her, and she didn’t want him to miss out on his dreams because of her.
Harboring more than one secret, Amie tries to avoid Declan when she discovers he’s back in town, but when he sees the evidence marring her body, she knows he’ll do whatever it takes to remove the fear from her eyes.
When the truth is revealed, can two people finally find the happiness they lost but never forgot?
Easy Sacrifice
Coming September 2016!!
Jessa:
He was there when I needed him.
He showed up like some kind of hero and saved me.
I wanted him to stay, I wanted to get to know him… I wanted him.
But he always left without a word.
The last time I saw him, he was in the backseat of a police car for a murder that I committed.
Ty:
She looks at me like I’m special.
She thinks I have something to offer her, but she’s wrong.
I don’t have anything more than street cred and my fists.
But for her, I’ll take the fall.
Even though I’ll never deserve her, I’ll sacrifice it all to make sure she can breathe easy, even if I suffocate in the process.
About Anna Brooks:
I'm really pretty boring. I'm a Coastie wife and a mother who loves to write romance.
I don't have much spare time because my boys have a better social life than I do, and I'm usually busy playing chauffeur or being a cheerleader to one of the many sports they're involved in.
I was born in Wisconsin but now live on the West Coast. I'm an animal lover, wannabe Rock Chick, Diet Dr Pepper addict, and stealer of pens.

Interview With Anna Brooks:
1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
My books are contemporary romance centering around second chances. I will always have a character from a previous book make some type of cameo.
2. When did you know you wanted to write a book?
I wrote when I was younger, but never had lifelong dreams of becoming an author. But then a few years ago, I started getting story ideas again and decided to start writing them down. It happened pretty organically from there.
3. What inspires you to write?
Anything. Everything. A song, a couple on the street, something my husband says... really anything. I saw a TV commercial the other day that inspired an entire story.
4. Do you have a favorite character to write about?
I try to make all of my characters real. Like they could be someone you know, or work with, or see in the grocery store.
5. Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I have a general idea of where the story is going, but I just write.
6. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
My office. With just my satellite radio on and the window open.
7. Do you have a favorite food or drink you must have nearby when writing?
I always have Diet Dr Pepper, and usually tortilla chips of cheesy popcorn (but that tends to get messy, so I've cut back!)
8. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I've got about six books started, but the ones I'm currently working on are Give Me This, which is the sixth and final book in the It's Kind Of Personal series, due out August 15th. Easy Sacrifice is a romantic suspense, and that will be out in September.
