After reading Carly Phillips' Dare series I knew she was going to be a one click author of mine. You would think that after so many books they would start to be repetitive or predictable, but Ms. Phillips is anything but. Her style of writing is so flawless and balanced just right that you can't help but to be drawn in to her books and this one is no different. Kade and Lexie were such great characters and so "real" for lack of a better term. They feel like real people. People you would meet everyday. I loved how spunky Lexie was and while Kade started out being kind of an ass, he turned into one of my favorite male heroes I have ever read. The problems or issues that both Kade and Lexie deal with are things that you and I would deal with in the real world and that is something I really enjoyed. This is another book of Ms. Phillips that I will read over and over again because to be quite frank it is just that good. I really wish there were more than 5 stars to give this book because it deserves it. I can't tell you enough how much I loved this book. I am really excited to see what comes next in this series. Great job Ms. Phillips for delivering another fantastic book!!
