Making It Through

“I will always be there for you, Mady, always.”
One month later, I was slammed with the realization that some things you just can’t count on being true.
College sophomore, Madelyne Stewart, has it all—a wonderful home, a close-knit family, and great friends. But when tragedy strikes, it flips her world upside down. She struggles to deal with the chaos of her crumbling life.
On the brink of failing her classes, Mady reluctantly agrees to study with a tutor. Max Granger drifts into her life like a breath of fresh air. Not only is he intelligent and an excellent tutor, he’s funny, laid-back, and has the amazing ability to soothe her troubled soul. His striking looks top off a complete package any woman—Mady included—would want. Except, she isn’t looking to add anything else to her broken plate.
Can Mady find a way to make it though her pain and see what is in front of her? Will she take chance on Max? Or will the pieces of her heart be too broken to mend?

Starting Over
Left with no option but to leave the only life she has ever known, Katherine White has packed up and moved almost three thousand kilometres for a chance at a new start with a new job in a new city.
When her best friend drags her to a masquerade party on only her second night in town, Kate has a chance encounter with a mysterious masked man that dominates her, pushes her limits and leaves her craving more.  He tells her that there is no long-term in their future, but he wants to continue to explore their sexual chemistry. The only trouble is he wants their identities to remain a mystery.

Benjamin Hyde has been burned by love and has vowed never to let another woman stomp on his heart.  His days are filled with successful business ventures and his nights with one night stands at the club.

After reluctantly being dragged to a masquerade party by his best friend, Ben is surprised to find a girl that captivates him and doesn’t hesitate to take control.

When his new assistant, Kate, arrives on Monday morning, a glimpse of a tattoo on the back of her neck throws a wrench into his perfectly sorted world.  Could Kate really be the woman that Ben had hooked up with?

Ben wants to pursue her, but she is adamant to not mix business and pleasure.
Normally he would quite agree, except when it comes to Kate.

Interview With Erin Cristofoli:
1.        Can you tell us a little about your books?

Making It Through is a new adult romance .  It’s a story of loss, friendship, love and finding one's way again after tragedy.  Plenty of angst and emotions to pull at the heartstrings.
Starting Over is a contemporary erotic romance and debut novel.  It's a story about two people who have been burned by love and simply not looking for forever.  Will a chance encounter open Kate’s eyes to new erotic desires? Will a budding friendship heal Ben and Kate heal? Will a secret ruin it all?

2.        Do you have a favorite character to write about?

I really enjoyed writing Max in Making It Through.  He has a personality that I think is hard not to love.

3.       What inspires me to write?

I never knew quite how to respond to this.  I just want to write a story that will capture a reader’s heart for a little while.  I am inspired to keep writing when I hear from readers and by the world around me.  And I am inspired because of my kids.  They are young, but they know their mommy is following a dream and they are excited for me.  I am a dreamer, and all the stories inside my head inspire me too.

4.       Do you have a favorite spot to write?

I almost always write on my couch in the living room, usually after everyone has gone to bed.  I’ve also written a coffee shops, which I find is a nice change of scenery, especially when distractions come so easily at home.

5.       Do you have any “odd” writing habits?

I’m not sure if what I do is odd or not, but it’s just my process.  I usually start with a couple single scenes, I jot everything on cue cards and then as I get more notes, I can then arrange them into the beginnings of a story.  Then I can fill  as I begin writing.

6.       Do you listen to music while you write?

Yes, I definitely do.  I am on spotify and I draw emotion from songs sometimes.  I don’t have a set genre that I listen to, just whatever gives me the feels.

7.       What’s your favorite summertime activity?

I really love just hanging out in my backyard with the family.  We have a beautiful covered back deck that is a great writing spot.
In August, without fail, we attend our city’s summer fair a couple of times.  I love it and it has been a tradition since I was a kid.

8.       Are you doing any Author Signing Event this year?

I am!  I am currently signed up to attend the Ingite Your Soul Author Event in
London, Ontario in September.  Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/events/865808600175542/

I will also be attending Romancing the Falls in May 2017.  Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/RTF17/

I can’t wait for both of these.

9.       What are writing projects are you currently working on?

I have a couple of works in progress.  The one that I will be focusing on first is a contemporary romance that has just a wee bit of mystery to it.  Can’t say more than that just yet.
