I loved this one.   Stina Lindenblatt is a new to me author.  I read the blurb and thought it looked like a potentially good story and it did not disappoint.  

Nolan and Hailey are awesome characters.  They both have complex things goign on.   Nolan drops everything and goes back to his hometown when he finds out Hailey has been attacked.   There are reasons Nolan left town before and hasn't returned.    Hailey and Nolan were best friends before he left but both still have more then friendly feelings for each other.   There are things that keep them from moving forward with each other.  I was a little frustrated with them at points, I was hoping that they would just get their stuff together and tell each other how they felt.  It's not all angst and love, there is also suspense because Hailey's attackers is still on the loose.
