The Promises We Keep (Made for Love, #1)

The Promises We Keep (Made for Love #1)

by

The promises they keep reveal who they are and define who they want to be….

Beckham and Addison are the picture perfect couple. High school sweethearts, still lost in love as they prepare to enter their senior year of college, marriage is a dream that weighs heavily on both of their hearts. But while Addie is trying to wait patiently for a ring, Beckham has a different proposal in mind. The decision he makes is laced with good intentions, but his journey to self-discovery may cost him the only woman he can imagine being with forever.

Grayson and Avery are just friends. While everyone tries to convince them that their study dates and late night hang outs are proof positive that their feelings are much deeper than they’ll admit to each other, they’re stubborn in their resolve to hide in the safe zone of friendship. But when Grayson’s best friend and Avery’s twin sister face hard times in their relationship, Grayson begins to question whether or not surrendering to his heart’s bidding—consequences be damned—is what love is all about.

Beckham, Grayson, Addison, and Avery learn that in romance, all they need is love—except for when life is way more complicated than that.

[Reckless Surrender is book two in the Made for Love series but can be read as a STAND ALONE novel. Written for audiences 18+ years of age.]

Three and a half years ago, Daphne walked into my shop, kicked open the door to my soul, invited herself inside, and got comfortable. By the time I realized she’d made herself at home, it was too late to kick her out. Now, I’m in love with her. But I’m not her boyfriend. She’s not my lover. We’re just friends…

Trevor’s it for me. I love him so much it drives me crazy. But we’re broken—two battered people whose souls have been ravaged by the world. We decided a long time ago that we wanted to love each other but not attempt to fix one another. Instead, we give each other as much as we can. I’m beginning to wonder if that’s ever going to be enough…

Daphne is my best friend, our bond forged by a shared mistake that left us both brokenhearted. Her happiness is wrapped in the tattooed package of a man named Trevor, and I want her to have him. I'm bold enough to do anything to push those two together, even if that means consorting with the enemy—her brother, Roman. All I have to do is convince his stubborn ass that my plan will work...

Encore Worthy (Mountains & Men 0.5)

He was arrogant.
He was beautiful.
He was to be her one night fix.

She was gorgeous.
She was haunted.
She was to be his temporary muse.

Millicent Valentine isn't looking for much when she walks into The Brew Cycle for a night out with friends. She isn't after love. Why risk the heartache when one night of unbridled passion will do the trick? Any handsome, willing male will do just fine. When she is introduced to the lead singer of Mountains & Men, she can't seem to take her eyes off of him. He’s an arrogant little shit—but it’s only one night, right?

Sage McCoy is always on the prowl, knowing he can get just about any girl in the room after a night on stage. When he’s introduced to Millie, there is no doubt in his mind that he has to have her. But when he gets her alone, she makes his heart sing. Now, he’s convinced one night will never do.

When morning dawns, the knowledge that comes with the sun has Millicent kicking Sage to the curb—but he knows what he wants and he’s ready for the chase.

His one night stand is worthy of an encore.

[Intended for audiences 18+ years of age, due to explicit language and sexual content.]

About R.C. Martin:

I'm a born and bred Coloradan. While I now reside in Virginia, the land of the Rocky Mountains

is where I've left a piece of my heart and where my characters come to life. When I'm not writing

I'm reading; when I'm not reading I'm writing...you know how it goes! I also enjoy cooking,

baking, crocheting, and jigsaw puzzles. Basically, I'm an old soul with a young heart,

nonchalantly waiting for my prince to come.

Interview With R.C. Martin:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?

Currently, I have two series out: the Made for Love series started out as a New Adult romance collection, but as I keep finding new secondary characters to bring into the spotlight, it has kind of shifted into New Adult/Contemporary romance. But I sort of love where my characters have led me with the series. My other series, Mountains & Men is new! I decided I wanted to try my hand at Rocker romance.

2. What inspires you to write?

Love. Honestly, that's the simplest answer I can give. Love, in the various ways that it comes, inspires me every time.

3. Do you have a favorite spot to write?

You know, I don't know. I kind of write where I can. Sometimes I feel like I write better when I'm on my commuter train or on my lunch break at work, but I really prefer to be at home in my comfy yellow chair.

4. Do you listen to music while you write?

Not generally. If I do, it's because I'm trying to block out any noise around me.

5. Do you have a favorite character to write about?

Mmmm, I think my favorite always happens to be who I'm writing at the moment. And then, it's always the one character that is the most broken. I like to delve into their issues and then write them out of trouble.

6. What's one random fact about yourself that you can share?

I like to work on jigsaw puzzles. I have an abandoned one that's sitting in my apartment…staring at me…telling me to take a writing break. One day soon. I hope.

7. When did you know you wanted to write a book?

When I was seventeen, I got the idea…been writing ever since.

8. What is your all-time favorite book?

Oh, I don't have one. Haha. This is just an impossible question. I love too many.

9. What are you working on next?

I'm currently working on Fool for You, the sixth installment of Made for Love.
