Wrecked
by Jennifer Burrows

Cameron Taylor is young, handsome, obscenely rich, and a rock music God. He is also a train wreck, and has only known privilege his entire life. Unscathed by his lifestyle of partying with a healthy dose of womanizing, his world is about to come crashing down around him when he comes face to face with the woman he thought only existed in his dreams.

Upon discovering she is not merely a figment of his imagination, Cameron can’t shake an unrelenting feeling of fate and destiny stepping into his life. He stops at nothing to discover who the woman from his dream is, and what significance she holds. Focused only on his new obsession, Cameron redirects his energy from the music party scene to the new love of his life, Sarah Thurston.

Unaware this “angel”, is the center of his life being turned upside down, Cameron soon finds himself forced to keep his relationship a secret, and through a bizarre turn of events, winds up arrested. Once on top of the music world, he now finds himself having to choose between his bandmates and woman he hardly knows.

Following several strange and unforeseen turn of events, Cameron finds himself at the precipice of his life. Has he really fallen this far, this fast? And can anything save him, or have his poor choices finally caught up with him?

The answer may lie within a source he never considered before...

Interview with Jennifer Burrows:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
I write romantic suspense books.  The started out more romance than suspense and as I moved along, they've become more suspense.  In every book I've written, I've tried to include something educational.  I really like Dan Brown and the art history he's infused, and I love learning from whatever I'm reading.

2. Which book has been the most fun to write?
Hands down, Wrecked.  It was about a jacked up rock star and it was just so easy to write. It flowed perfectly.

3. What inspires you to write?
Sometimes it's a story or a song.  Something will just pop in my head.  Wrecked was inspired by a song.  Surrender was inspired by a trip to Italy.

4. How did you choose the genre you write in?
You read what you write.  I like romance a lot.  I also like suspense.  I like to guess the ending.  However, my husband says I'm much better at writing suspense.  I think it's just because he's a guy who doesn't like reading romance.

5. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
I like to write looking out the window at the Aspen trees on my street.  I live in the mountains so I have the most serene view.

6. Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I tried working with an out line and the story change so much as I would write.  The characters seem to write their own story.  Now I have a concept in my head and just go with it.

7. When did you know you wanted to write a book? I never knew I wanted to write books until I was in the airport one day waiting standby and wrote 6 chapters.  That was my first novel, A Shot in the Dark.  Now I find it therapeutic.

8. Are you attending any author book signing events this year?  I have a signing in Southern California in June and Syracuse in September.  I had a few other plan that I was planning on attending, but my husband had a serious accident, and I have to be home with him.

9. What are you working on next? Currently, I'm working on a novel about a Marine, who left the military and became a police officer.  He stumbles on a sex trade along the way.  I won't say more as I don't want to spoil the story, but it's quite suspenseful.  In addition I'm working on a short story for an anthology that will be out this summer.
