Synopsis

Two years post college, straight-laced, hardworking, Amaya Davis is making waves in the male-dominated sports marketing industry. Thanks to an abusive relationship, she's sworn off men; so she buries herself in work and her dreams keep her writhing in pleasure. But a chance encounter at an art gallery opening finds Amaya face to face with Nicholas Hansen again. He's the star of her dreams, and he awakens a desire deep within her.

They decide to partner together in business and in the bedroom, the boardroom, the barn and anywhere else they can break away to be together. But will Amaya's insecurities and distrust separate these two or will Nicholas show her how to overcome her past so they can have a future?

Meet Amaya and Nicholas:

A former athlete and all around sports enthusiast, it's no surprise that Amaya Davis decided to pursue a career in Sports Marketing. Her caramel complexion, big breasts, curvy hips, and brown eyes will stop any man in his tracks; but this beauty has brains, too. Having graduated at the top of her class, she has proven that she is a force to be reckoned with. Too bad, she has a deep scar on her heart.

Using his hands is what Nicholas Hansen has been good at since he was a toddler. When he puts hands and head together, he can create something magnificent. However, when his head is not involved, his hands can be destructive. After his wild-n-out ways met with his father's ultimatum, Nicholas' head and hands formed a pact to always work together. I guess his heart wasn't at that meeting.

Sneak Peek
He unbuttoned my blouse and began to massage my breast while tenderly kissing me on my neck. “Nicholas,” I cried. He looked at me and smiled.
Do you want me to stop?”
No,” I said shaking my head. He took my shirt off and dropped it to the floor while sliding my bra strap down and softly kissing my shoulders. He unhooked my bra, exposing my breast and taught nipples. Grabbing my breasts, he placed my nipple….
You have to be fucking kidding me,” I yelled at my alarm clock. Ever since Friday, I have had the wettest dreams about Nicholas. Just the thought of his eyes penetrating me to my core makes me wish he were penetrating me. I rolled over and looked at the clock, “Shit!” It was already 7:30 am and I had to be to work at 8:00 am. “Oh, God, I can’t believe I am fucking late”, I exclaimed while I jumped up and scrambled towards the bathroom. I turned on the shower and then I called Samantha.
Hey sexy,” she answered. “Hey, Red. Look, I am running late, something is off with my alarm I guess. Can you email me my appointments when you get to the office?” “Sure thing doll. And why didn’t you call me Saturday about the gallery opening?” She asked. “I, um, got sidetracked Saturday afternoon and Sunday I went running and totally forgot.” “Sure. I guess we will dish over lunch. I’ll send you the deets.” “Thanks, Red. See you in an hour.”
I get in the shower and start thinking about what I was trying to ignore the heat in his eyes, the warmth of his touch. How his smile made me gasp for air. How I wish it were his hands soaping my body and not mine, feeling my breast, my VJ, my mouth. Ok, this shower was getting me nowhere and fast. I mean I have been with men before, well two. However, the relationships didn’t last. In college, I had one relationship with James. He was nice, tall, light complexion, brown eyes, and a business major. Went out on a couple of dates and that was it. He just didn’t possess anything that I was looking for. There was no spark. Not even when we had sex. I vowed after that brief stint that I would just stay in my books and push until graduation.
I got out the shower and toweled off. No time to dry my hair so I pulled it back into a bun. I went natural 4 years ago, so I had curly hair, long curly hair. I got dressed, grabbed my things and left. No time for breakfast today.

About the author

ML Preston was born and raised in Oklahoma City, where she learned early on that she had a gift for bringing worlds to life with her words. An avid and voracious reader, she was encouraged to nurture her active imagination and quickly found a passion for storytelling. Inspired by her own personal love story, she began to write the voices in her head, embarking on a journey to share her stories. She spins tales of passion and romance where the lines between race and creed, physical perfection and social norms disappear in the face of love. Tales of real love; erotic connections with a heart and soul that everyone can relate to. She now makes a home in Texas with her husband and three children, who keep her grounded when the voices call on her to tell their story. And they never stop calling.

Interview With ML Preston:
1. Can you tell us a little about your book?
Unthinkable is a story of how one person allowed her past to keep her away from relationships and one man's determination to help her overcome it. There are friends, enemies, careers and challenges to deal with along their journey.
2. When did you know you wanted to write a book?
I was in the middle of reading a book and it just came to me. The idea of writing a book to cover the things I wanted to see and read about just overtook me.

3. How did you choose the genre you write in?
It was while reading an IR/Erotic book that the idea to write in this genre influenced me.

4.Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I develop plot points that serve as a guideline of how I see the events playing out.
5. What inspires you to write?
The voices in my head. LOL! Support from my friends and of course, family. Music helps bring forth ideas and sometimes listening to others talk about an event in their life.
6. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
We have an oversized chair in out living room that spent many nights with me.
7. Do you listen to music while you write?
Yes. It is a requirement. If it is not playing, I am humming or singing in my head.
8. What do you do when you are not writing?
I have plenty of mommy/wifey duties to keep me occupied, but when I am in a downtime from everything, I catch up on TV shows or read.

9. What are you working on next?
The follow up to Unthinkable, Untouchable. It is a turn of events for the couple that could end them for good. Some skeletons should be revealed before committing.
