Interview With J.W. Snootz:

1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
My books are all about believing in something bigger than yourself, and yet still seeking out your own personal pleasures, adventures, mysteries, and reflections along the way. It's ok to explore and be selfish sometimes, that is possibly the best way to help others...by offering them the best version of yourself, and focusing on your own happiness you have just that much more to give.


2. What book has been your favorite to write?
Vhamps Vol. 1 at least until i start Vol 2 I hope. I was so surprised by how quick it went, and how the story just sort of wrote itself. I can only wish for more of that to come, and the story to me is a fun one to tell.


3.  When did you know you wanted to write a book?
I always knew I wanted to write books, just believing it was a viable career path was not always the easy choice, or a possible one. When I was a kid, I was very internal and loved to read and write daily, some of those old ramblings still inspire parts of my stories today.


4. Do you work with an outline, or just write?
Outline, or my version of it which fits my entire books onto a large post it note or maybe two tops if I make a lot of changes.


5.  Do you have a favorite spot to write?
My spot is usually at my small very neat and tidy desk. I like to feel a bit enclosed when I write, I like to face a wall or corner, and go into the world where the action is happening for a while.


6. Do you listen to music while you write?
I usually listen to random music when I write, but sometimes the silence is necessary for certain scenes. Usually I just let the random selector choose and occasionally skip a song I don't like. I prefer variety to keep the mood light and flowing in many directions, so my writing doesn't take on too much of a certain direction based on the music.


7.  What do you do when you are not writing?
Golf,Basketball,Workout, Netflix Marathons,Hanging with my wife and six boys, and of course other adventures and travels you may find pieces of in my books.


8.  What writing projects are you currently working on?
Currently working on finishing up edits for the fourth book in the Paradise series Surrendering to Paradise. I am also working on a new series about adventures at work. I will be picking up writing Vhamps Vol. 2 next I believe, and then starting another new project or two or six. I like to write several different books at a time when not in a release month.
