was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1996. I
have a huge family who I shocked them when I told them I was writing my
first book. I have had a love a reading since I was young. Reading has
always been my escape. I can read and be a princess or a warrior.
Reading for me was always something magical. And I hope to pass that on
to you all.
I
am blessed to be the mom of a little girl named Sage who is the light
of my life. {I call her Olga, and she hates it} I did not give birth to
her but I choose her.
I
am blessed with great friends who have always had my back. I have a lot
to learn in this world of writing but, so far I am enjoying the ride. I
have a fantastic Four that are my true loves. No names will be
mentioned as they know who they are. I Love you all very much. {I didn't

I'm
very opinionated and have no filter. I speak my mind without thinking
of the consequences. Does this get me in Trouble? Yes it does every
single day. But I will not change. I march to my own beat. My mom says
that I can be a one man band.

1) Can you tell us a little about your books?
I absolutely can. Right now I have 2 books and 1 anthology published. Book 1 is called Broken Love and Forever Bound. It is an Erotice Suspense with a dark Romance twist book. Book 2 is called Damaged Love Book 2 in the Bound Series. It picks up right where One left off. Book 2 is my favorite in the series so far. I will post a synopsis of each book for you.

2) When did you know you wanted to write a book?
I was going through Chemo and I had read over 1000 books and I was like I think I can write one. So during chemo I would always take a spiral because I would journal my experiences during chemo. But then I had this little voice in my head. At first I would ignore it. But then it they started screaming at me, so I was like damn let me get these people out of my head. So then Layla Stevens was born.
3) What’s the best thing about being a writer?
I love meeting my fans. It amazes me daily when someone messages me. I love talking to them. Let’s me know that I am doing something right.
4) Do you ever experience writer’s block?
Yes all the time. But I will sprint with some of my fellow authors and be like I need help. They always help me when I need it.
5) Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I am actually a fly by the seat of my pants kind of person. i write what my characters scream at me. Sometimes it makes no sense when I am writing. But in the end it all comes together.
6) Do you listen to music when writing?
I absolutely do, I stay signed into youtube. And I am always switching songs.
7) Do you have a favorite spot to write?
Anywhere I can get peace and quiet. I write normally at 3 am because my family is asleep. And I can knock out a few thousand words in an hour.
8) What do you do when you are not writing?
I am a mom. I am part of the P..T.A. My daughter is chorus so I am on the board of her chorus boosters. And I love to cook. More like bake. I hate chocolate but I will bake with it for my friends and family.
10) What writing projects are you currently working on?
Oh Lordy. The book I am currently working is my all time favorite. It is called Love Thyself. It is way out of my box. The main character is a transgender. I am so in love with this story I can’t wait for it be out. Then I will finish up the Bound Series Book 2 is called Searching for Love. Book 4 is called Searching for Love. Then I have cowboys coming up Called Breaking Avery and then Finding Finley. I will have a bdsm style book called Teaching Kane. I will also have a paranormal called Terrani’s Redeption. And I have a Contemp Romance called Casey’s Song. And last but not least I have a Romantic Comedy called Lucky N Love. All due out next year other Than Love Thyself it will be out soon.
