Interview With Xavier Neal and Logan (from The Senses Series):
1. Can you tell us a little about your books?
(Xavier) I have three series out at this moment. The Havoc Series, which is about a Marine. Never Say Neverland Series, which is a modern re-imaging of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, and--
(Logan) The Senses Series. Starring me. The best. That's the series you wanna read. I'm an MMA fighter. My books are sexy and fun. How can I be beat?
(Xavier) Well you see how modest he is... *rolls eyes*
2. Which has been your favorite series to write?
(Logan) Me! Isn't that obvious. That's why I'm here.
(Xavier) You're here because I haven't figured out how the fuck to get rid of you.
(Logan) Like I said...her favorite.
(Xavier) I don't have a favorite. I love all my boys equally.
3. Do you have a favorite character to write about?
(Logan smirks wide)
(Xavier) I do not...my boys are like my children. I could never pick a favorite.
(Logan points a finger at his chest) Me. Obviously.
4. Do you have a favorite spot to write?
(Xavier) It was my bed...lol but I recently started to take too many naps, so I got a grown up desk, and started working there...I'm learning to like.
(Logan) Her phone is really her favorite place to write. That's where you'll find notes and outlines for days.
(Xavier) Huh. That's true. Good point Logan.
(Logan) I know. I have those.
(Xavier makes a sarcastic face) Really?
(Logan) Occasionally.
5. Do you have any “odd” writing habits?
(Xavier) Um...Mountain Dew is a big crave while I'm in crunch time, and the rest of my life doesn't really exist. I write into the middle of the night, sleep for a couple hours, get back up, nap again, and write until the middle of the night. That is "writing season" which is when I know a deadline is near.
(Logan) She's an odd person if you ask me.
(Xavier) That wasn't the question....
6. Do you listen to music while you write?
(Xavier) I sure do. And I started Spotify playlists that are targeted at my characters, so that's fine to update while working.
(Logan) Her choice in fun at time while she writes, at other's I just wanna ask what the hell is wrong with her.
7. When did you know you wanted to write a book?
(Xavier) Like ever? I was like 8. lol
(Logan smiles) Which is pretty funny, that it's almost 20 years later and you do.
8. What are writing projects are you currently working on?
(Xavier) I am finishing up Collapse, Havoc Series, which can be read as a standalone, but you will get more enjoyment if you have read the others in the series. I'm also working on Mollify, Senses Series, which stars the Kid.
(Logan) I can't believe he's getting his own book.
(Xavier) He's a mini you. What did you expect. Not only is he loud about it, all the Senses fans really wanna see him all grown up. And you a bit in the future. It'll be fun.
(Logan glares) Don't try to sell me on that. I told you to keep writing books about me.
(Xavier) That's cause you're selfish...
9. Are you attending any author signing this year?
(Xavier) I will be at Naughty in the South in Alabama in June. I'm stoked! And I believe that's it for the year. Still new at this.
(Logan) I'll make sure to send some paperbacks signed by me BEFORE hand. *winks*
