Interview with Nashoda Rose:
Hi everyone, thank you so much for having me Amazeballs Book Addicts!
1) Can you tell us a little about your books?
Dark, gritty, twisted romances describe most of my books. I love to play with readers emotions. I’m addicted to alpha males, so mine tend to be bossy, controlling and confident as hell. Throw in a tortured dark past, hot sex, danger and suspense.
2) Using one sentence, describe Take.
Cocky badass assassin Jasper, is hired to protect a girl with a horrific past who is hiding who she really is.
3) Do you prefer to write standalones or series?
Great question. All my books currently are series except Take, however that might turn into a series. My books focus on different characters as I prefer to change heads after one book. I have a novel pounding at my head right now that I can’t wait to write and it’s not part of a series, but since it’s not written yet, I can’t say what will happen.
4) Which one of your alpha male characters is your favorite?
Damn, that is a tough question. I have a love affair with Deck from Perfect Chaos; he is my ultimate man for real life. However, Logan (Sculpt) will always have a special place in my heart. Tortured and driven with a love for his woman that withstood so much pain.
5) Do you have a favorite spot to write?
Does my fantasy place count? It’s a small quaint room with a window seat and tons of cushions. There are books from floor to ceiling and many are signed by my favorite authors. Sounds perfect, right? Maybe one day. For now, a chair with my laptop in my living room.
6) Do you listen to music while you write?
OMG yes. I even bought headphones so in the early mornings (I usually get up around 4am) when I write, I can blast music.
7) Do you have a favorite food or drink nearby when writing? Coffee in the mornings and red wine on occasion in the evening, but only if I’m writing a sex scene. Sometimes, I don’t even drink it, but it’s sexier with a glass of wine beside me as I write a hot sex scene.
8) What's one random fact about yourself that you can share? Hmmm, doesn’t everyone know everything about me yet?
Oh and I love black licorice and keep packages of it in my desk drawer … I think I have a problem, lol
9) What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I’m working on Shattered by You, Crisis story in the Tear Asunder series. And as I mentioned before a book has been pounding at my head and I’m so excited about it. I think those who have enjoyed my erotic romances are going to love it.
