realize that could be the difference between life and death. When
Maddox, a dangerous seductive man, enters her life she is no longer able
to hide who she is. The only thing worse than falling for Maddox is
finding out he knows more about WHAT she is then she even does. When
their secrets revealed, is there anything strong enough to hold two
different supernatural beings together when they are meant to be
enemies?
Slivers of Skye

by Anna Moranski
That’s when she noticed her body was glowing red from the inside out.
She was also covered in blood from saving Mike and her mother, not to
mention the blood from the demon on her body.
Skye slowly blinked taking in the change in her light. She was not meant to shine red. She’s an elf. She is light colors. Not dark. Not red. Never red.
Her eyes met with her fathers and she knew what it meant.
The prophecy could be true.
Warning: Some language and sexual situations.

It's a decision he might not get to make, when her ex husband threatens to take her out of the equation completely.
About Anna Moranski:
Interview with Anna Moranski:
- Can you tell us a little about your books?
My first book “Finding Abigail” is about a woman
who thought of herself as only a wife and mother, she never really allowed
herself to have a life outside of the home. So when her husband leaves her she
sets out on discovering herself and learning to love and trust again while
still being a dedicated mother.
“Shards of Skye” is about a girl who seems a bit
emo or gothic but has had a very misunderstood life. She struggles with her identity
because she knows she is different. When Maddox comes into her life everything
starts falling into place and she discovers her world isn’t the only world out
there.
“Slivers of Skye” is book two in The Skye
Chronicles and is based on Skye learning more about herself and wanting to become
more independent and self-confident. She has to make decisions based on mixed
feelings she has for Maddox and her other love interest Mike but most
importantly she has discovered she needs to help keep those she loves safe from
harm.
- Do you prefer to write standalone books or series?
I enjoy both stand-alone books and series. With “Finding
Abigail” I felt the story was told and it didn’t need anything else said. I
knew with Skye’s story that it would be a series because she had so much going
on in her life that she wasn’t even aware of as well as many other characters
that have their own stories to tell as well. I will probably write a mixture of
stand-alone books as well as some series in the future.
- Using one sentence, describe
Finding Abigail?
A woman that finally figures out life isn’t about discovering yourself
but creating yourself and becoming who you want to be in life.
- Do you have a favorite spot to write?
I write in my bedroom the most. I’m an insomniac
so when I can’t sleep I can just hop on the computer and write. It’s very
private and dark in my bedroom so it helps to not have any major distractions,
besides my son or husband occasionally popping in of course.
- When you write do you write the first draft on a computer or paper and pen?
I write on a computer. I will have notes on a notepad that I keep
in my car and beside my computer for ideas that I want to incorporate into the
story though. If that isn’t with me then I use the notepad on my Iphone to help
as well.
- Do you listen to music while you write?
I almost always listen to music when I write.
Music is very calming to me and I enjoy it. I have playlists on Youtube for
each of my books that I will play when I am writing. It’s all based on the mood
that I am looking for with every scene in the book.
- When did you know you wanted to write a book?
I have wanted to be a writer since I could read. My Mom read to me
every night and I started writing my own stories around 10 years old. I still
have notebooks filled with stories from my younger years in my closet. I have
so many stories in my head that keeping focused on just one can be a challenge
when I’m so excited about the ideas that will randomly pop into my head.
- What's one random fact about yourself that you can share?
I’m addicted to those Red Bird soft mints that
melt in your mouth!! I have to have those and water on me at all times. Water
is my drink of choice, I know with most authors its coffee but I don’t drink
caffeine rarely ever. I love regular simple water!!
- Are you attending any author signing in 2015?
I have requested to attend IndieGirlCon hosted by Tabatha Vargo
and Melissa Andrea in South Carolina but the details haven’t been finalized as
of yet. I am on the waiting list for another author signing in North Carolina
but I unfortunately signed up a little late so I have to wait and see. As of
right now those are the only two for now. I’m always open to more though!
- What are writing projects are you currently working on?
I am finishing up the last book in The Skye Chronicles, “Shattered
Skye” which I am hoping to get out in Spring 2015 but being in college full
time as well as a Boy Scout Committee volunteer keeps me busy, I am also
working on another story I had started before and want to put out, the title
isn’t solid yet though but it will be fun, sassy, and very adult.
