Under the Orange Moon (Mathews Family #1)
by

Dylan Mathews grew up in a house that was always filled with good-looking guys. However, with her four protective older brothers, they never stood a chance.

Except for one.

Dylan knew she loved Ben McKenna from the first time she laid eyes on him. When he started sneaking in her room, she thought he felt the same way. But just as their passion ignited, he left for college and never came back.

Until now.

Returning home after 5 years, Ben realizes Dylan has always been the one for him. Can he win back her heart and finally find love under the orange moon?

Beyond the Orange Moon (Mathews Family #2)
by

Sometimes fate strikes in unexpected ways.

Lucy Dalton was tired of living a life she didn't want. Charlie Mathews was living the life he always wanted.

But one night, fate changes the course of their lives forever. A year later, Lucy and Charlie's paths meet again, igniting a spark that neither can deny.

Lucy knows he doesn't remember her, but she's already in too deep.
Charlie knows the unwritten family rule: Mathews men never admit when they're broken.

Can they leave the past where it belongs and find a way to look beyond the orange moon?

Author Bio:
Adrienne Frances spends her time as a writing consultant at a university near her home. In her spare time, she loves to be with her husband and two sons, who have made her exactly who she is today. Writing is a passion that she has appreciated for as long as she can remember. She believes that a wild imagination is a terrible thing to waste and should be captured and brought to life by all that are blessed to have one. This way of life is what led her to become a writer and later a published author. Her first novel, Under the Orange Moon, was released in March of 2014. Since then, she has released another book, Beyond the Orange Moon, which continues to focus on the same family: The Mathews.

INTERVIEW With Adrienne Frances:

1.    Can you tell us a little about your books?
Family, humor, unconditional love, real-life struggles, heartbreak, forgiveness…it’s all there in both novels!
In Under the Orange Moon, the first book in the series, Ben McKenna needs to learn about himself and how to handle things that are out of his control, and I wanted to show how unconditional Dylan’s love for him is. I think, in Beyond the Orange Moon, Charlie’s struggle is a bit different. He really loses in that story, but I also really enjoyed showing that good things can come from bad situations. Lucy seems to also move along and learn about herself in that story. I guess we could call both novels coming of age stories with a twist of romance.

2.    Which Mathews sibling is your favorite?
Oh, Jonah. I really love Jonah. My hope is to write him a good story. I hope I have it in me haha!

3.    Which Mathews brother is next to get their book?
I have outlines for Brandon and Hugh. I’d really love to have Jonah next, which was my plan, but I haven’t been very happy with anything yet. I’ll get there, but I have to get all the “feels” when I come up with something. That just hasn’t happened yet. I might have to just move onto Brandon next. He’s the brother who’s been speaking to me.

4.    Do you have a favorite spot to write?
Anywhere QUIET!! Haha! I mostly write in my office at home, but I do carry my laptop everywhere I go. When the Michigan weather cooperates, I like writing outside.

5.    Do you listen to music while you write?
Sometimes. There is a lot of classical music that inspires me when I’m blocked. I also love Yiruma. There’s just something about the piano…I don’t know.

6.    When did you know you wanted to write a book?
I didn’t really “decide” to write my first book; I just sort of did it. I first wrote the scene at the beginning of Under the Orange Moon where Ben is sitting in the airport and then I just kept on going. I guess I had a story to tell, no outline, no preparation…it just happened.

7.    What's one random fact about yourself that you can share?
I have seven siblings: two brothers and five sisters. I grew up in a house just as chaotic as the Mathews’ home. It was both fun and annoying, depending on the day.

8.    What is your all-time favorite book?
Oh, that’s a tough one. I am a huge Mia Sheridan fan. When she releases anything new, I stop everything I’m doing and dive right in. The same goes for Colleen Hoover. Who doesn’t love CoHo, though, right? If I had to choose my all time favorite, though, I would have to say that Mia's Archer's Voice changed me forever. I will never be able to shake that book; it was just so beautiful. A close second is Colleen's Hopeless. Beautiful!

9.    Are you attending any author signing in 2015?
Yes! I will be at the Capital City Author Event in D.C. on March 28th, On the Border Book Bash in San Diego, on May 30th, and then, on July 11th, I’ll be down in Little Rock for the Little Rock Book Jam. I am so excited!

      10. What are writing projects are you currently working on?

Well, I hope no one kills me, and I’m only announcing this here, but I’ve put the Mathews aside for a minute to focus on another project that has been nagging me for years. I am currently in the rewrite stage and I’m hoping to get the first draft to my fabulous betas in the next month or two. It’s a tricky story, a bit longer than what I’ve done in the past, darker, and it has a bit of suspense. I’ve been having a lot of fun writing it. I PROMISE that I am NOT done with the Mathews.
