Review of No More Crutch by Jason Insalaco

No More Crutch

No More Crutch

by
No More Crutch is a collection of writings from the early years of an ongoing recovery. Recovery from Bipolar Disorder, alcohol, and drugs. These writings started on random pieces of paper which had no order like my life. The process of this book was a cathartic one. It's given me a chance to organize my past years and to turn the page on the darkness which consumed my life.

Review By Gia:
Wow, No More Crutch is an amazing book of poetry.   I am not big fan of poetry but for some reason I was drawn to this book.   The only other poetry that I have enjoyed reading is by Dylan Thomas but now I can say I enjoy reading poetry by Dylan Thomas and Jason Insalaco.
There is a lot of emotions poured into this poetry and it will jump right of the page you for while you are reading.   My favorite line is from the Voice, "A weakness can be transformed to an incredible strength."  Whether you are a big fan of poetry or not you will still enjoy reading this book.
