Have you ever picked up a book and expected it to be one way but then when reading it you realize it's not at all like you expected? Well, that was Stripped for me. I was expected a fluffy romance story. I could tell from the prologue that Stripped was not going to be a fluffy romance story. Stripped is definitely a crazy emotional roller coaster of a read. I very much enjoyed reading it from beginning to end. It's told in POVs of Kylie and Evan.
The prologue gives you a glimpse into Kylie's life, then Chapter 1 starts one year later. Kylie is a strong and amazing character. She has gone through so much and does what she has to support her family. To make ends meet she ends up working as a waitress and a stripper, neither of those jobs is what she wants to do. I love the scene where she first meets Evan. Evan is a sexy businessman. He is drawn to Kylie. Evan is awesome. Evan definitely deserves to go my favorite book boyfriend list.
Kylie and Evan's relationship has more ups and downs then any roller coaster ride I have been on. At points I thought there was no hope for their relationship. Both of their exes show up throughout the story. Evan's ex is worse than Kylie's ex. I almost feel a little bad for Kylie's ex.
Stripped is a great read. There is no cliffhanger!!!
