Encore is book three in the Back-Up series. You need to read Back-Up (book 1) and Front & Center (book 2) first. Encore is a great continuation of Jack and Leila's story. I was nervous picking this book up because it was a book 3 and I wasn't sure if it would keep my attention. It takes a good storyline and a good writing style to keep characters interesting as a series go on. Jack and Leila are definitely interesting characters and A.M. Madden writes their story so well that you can't get bored while reading.

Jack and Leila go through some changes in this story and they make adjustments for their lives to fit the changes. I loved that we get more from Devil's Lair bandmates. We also get more of the Cliffhangers too. I can't wait tot read the next one, Backstage.
