Duty Bound was a good read. Duty Bound was a little different than I had expected. Cole, Sebastian, Declan, and Levi returned from the Marines,they are all a little broken. Gavin, who is the friend, has passed away while on duty. Levi and Gavin were best friends. Harper is Gavin's sister. I thought it was going to be an easy love story between Levi and Harper. But when Levi goes up to talk to Harper at Gavin's funeral and she says, "You son of a bitch. Why couldn't it have been you?", that when I knew this was going to be a fun read.
It's told in the dual POV of Harper and Levi. Harper is trying to bring more media to investigate her brother's death and in the process she also is having threatening things happen to her. It's clear that both Harper and Levi are attracted to each other and Levi doesn't need much of an excuse to be around her.
Levi does some stupid things and Harper pushes him away at points. I loved how the character developed and grew throughout the book. I liked Levi's friends Sebastian, Declan, and Cole. Cole is my favorite. I can't wait to read the one.
